AUTHORS NOTE: Hello everyone! After going back and realizing how absolutely horrible this is, I just want to say that I was like 11 when I started writing this. It was a fun hobby and I really didn't put much thought into research or even a good writing style. I will be keeping this book up because I'd like to be able to come back and see how much I've developed as a writer :) I'm 17 and really proud of how far I've come! and I want any aspiring authors to read this and realize that we all start out somewhere, we may not be very good at what we're doing, but we can all mature and change. This book started out as a hobby, but it developed into a passion and allowed me to let my creativity flow!

"Your majesty?"
"Yes?" Said sixteen year old Anne.
"A messenger has brought word back from France and I do belive it is urgent."
"Well then what are you waiting for? Show him in at once." As the young guard opened the door, a young man quickly stepped in the room. "Your grace." He said as he bowed. He was a handsom young man with broad sholders, deep blue eyes that were lively and alert, and his hair was as golden as the sun. Surely, Anne thought to herself, this man should be an archer or a knight and not a messenger boy.
"And what news," said she, "Do you have for me?"
"I bring urgent news from France."
"And what does France say?"
"That they shall no longer be are allies."
"What!" Said the queen as she arose from her throne. "How dare they and just as we are in the middle of a war? Oh, I shall have my revenge mark my words!" Then she stopped and slowly turned to the young man who was looking at her strangely, she took a deep breath and regained her composer then she replied. "You are free to go." Lowly he bowed, turned, and left.
When the door closed shut Anne was paceing around the room in a vengeful rage. "They call France a powerful country but they are all traders, traders I say!"
Just as Anne was saying this Achan the royal advisor came in, and seeing his queen so angery he asked, "My queen why do you look so distressed?"
She look at him breifly and answered, "France has brocken their alliance with us, and we are at war against Ireland....... and oh, I don't know what to do anymore!" She said as she sat down rather ungracefuly upon the throne.
"Perhaps," Said Achan in a mischievous way, "If Your Majesty so desires......." There he paused.
"Yes go on." Said the queen, annoyed by the long and tedius silence.
"Well, Your Majesty, I was just about to say that if you wish, maybe you should have a meeting with the captain."
"What on earth for?" Said the young queen.
"Why, to set up a battle plan." As he said this Anne was starting to see what he was trying to say.
"And what you are trying to say is that we should attack France?"
"Yes, Your Majesty, and in that way we would teach them about the power of Scotland, and it would set an acsamble to other nations, and in this way I do belive that we could take total power and perhaps make a new alliance with Italy. Perhaps then we would have the wiphand over any enemy that we might face." He said slyly.
"Yes, but that would mean another war and I don't think that is very wise, but maybe if we could have one of our allies, perhaps England, but no no....... And besides, Italy is our enemy. An alliance with them might lead to there finding our weakness." At this statement Achan winced as if in pain. Queen Anne looked at Achan. "What is the matter Achan?"
"Just a pain, Your Majesty. Nothing important."
"Oh...... Well Achan why are you so persistant on starting a war with France?"
"Your Majesty, I have always wanted war upon France."
"Is this so?" Asked Anne.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Replied Achan.
"You have never acted like you wanted to start a war with France before."
"Your Majesty," Snapped Achan. "I will not rest until I have the satisfaction of knowing that France is destroyed! I- I'm sorry Your Majesty." He replied. "I humbly ask for your forgiveness." He said bowing. "I have been in poor health, I'm afraid."
"I shall forgive you Achan, but you must remember who your speaking to..... Also I want you to know that I will die before I go crawling to our enemy, especially Italy!"
Achan mumble something under his breath. Anne had never seen Achan in such a foul mood before, and even more strange was that he so desperately wanted to go to war with France. Something was wrong and she needed to find out what it was. So she decided to try a little experiment.
"Why are you so eager at the thought of going to war with France?"
He scoffed and said, "Your Majesty, I am your humble advisor and in no means important."
"Oh?" Said Anne. "But you seem so happy at the thought of going to war with France." As she stood there looking at him she could see he was blushing and that his gaze seemend so deep in thought. She slowly approached him and wispered in his ear. "Achan, do you want to share your thoughts with me?"
"No." He stuttered.
"Really?" Asked Anne with a smile upon her face.
"With all due respect, Your Majesty, I would rather not."
Anne slowly lifted her head and replied, "You are free to go."
With that the advisor slowly turned and left. Anne was deep in thought and was speaking to herself. Why , she thought, would he be so happy to have us go to war with France? Then she had a idea and she summond the guard to bring the royal records.
