It was late when Anne arose the folowing morning. And refreshed from a goodnight rest she was cherry and bright.

"Your Majesty?" Said Margret( Anne's servent girl).

"Yes" Replied Anne while she streched out her arms.

"I've come ta dress ya ma'am."

"Oh? what time is it?" asked Anne as she laid back in her bed.

"It's 'alf past ten ma'am."

"Half past ten!" Said Anne. "Blast it!"

With that she jumped out of bed before you could say 'uncle', and poor Margret was so frightend she almost fanted. Recovering from the shock of hearing a queen use such a word as 'blast it' made Margret move slowly and this angered Anne more than anything.

"Well hurry up you fool, hurry up!"

"Yes ma'am sorry ma'am."

"Don't say anything Margret, just act!" Said Anne as she scurried about the room, "Help me dress this instant!"

"If I might a'sk ma'am where are you goin?"

"Do not ask me questions Margret, just do something, anything!"

"Yes ma'me replied Margret softly."

Margret then helped Anne dress, and made sure she ate her breakfast. Then after hurrying through the affairs of the country (which she was most tired of) Anne ran of to find Brigget. She arrived at the ruins where they had talked the evening before and waited for Brigget. But by half past eleven there was still no Brigget, so she waited till noon and when there was still so sign of her Anne left. When she arrived at the castle the it was time for the luncheon. Marget helped Anne dress in silents which made matters worse, and by the time the table was set Anne was'int hungry. The servants worryed and tryed giving her caster oil and even after Anne ashured the head servant (who's names Eliza) she was perfectly fine, Eliza still sent for the royal doctor so that he could examen her young mistress.

"Well everything seems perfectly fine." Said Dr. Galbraith (Oh Dr. Galbraith was a exstrodanary person in all respects, if you had heard only a little of what i've heard about him you would know that what he said was correct and could be trusted and dear Eliza, bless her dear soul knew it and did'int question his words even a little).

"Thank you doctor" said Eliza.

"But just for safety I want Anne to stay in bed for the rest of the day."

"Please doctor intturupted Anne please don't confine me to my room I have to much work to do, the duchess of wales is coming for diner tonight, and I have a meeting of the royal counsel this afternoon and, and, oh I can't bear it any longer sobed Anne I try to run the country fairly but I am so exsausted from everything that I don't know how I shall ever bear it. I see replied the doctor. then turnning to Eliza he asked her if he could talk privetly to the queen. Eliza gave her consent right away and left the room. When the door was shut docter galbraith asked Anne to tell how she felt. Oh I feel so hopeless cried Anne the affairs of the country, the duty i must perform to my people, and now Brigget did'int come to meet me today. Who is Brigget might I so humbly ask your highness? Oh its just a country affair nothing of suffnifigence. I see replied the doctor well I shall talk to Eliza and you must promise me you will do what she tells you even if it means she must confine you to your room for a few days. Oh but doctor! cried Anne. You must promise me this interupted doctor Galbraith. I promise said Anne. Good smiled the doctor I shall leave you to yourself now and I shall talk to Eliza. Thank you doctor Galbraith. Your very welcome my lady. Eliza was walking aroud the door when the doctor came through. Well? asked Eliza. I'm afraid shes not as well as I had hoped replied doctor Galbraith. How so? replid Eliza. Well after speaking to her she seems to worry to much about her duty as queen. Yes sir she takes it very seriously. Well i'm afraid that if she countinuse to worry it shall not be good for her health. Oh doctor replied Eliza with her hand apon her breast. Now now dear Eliza harken to me this is what i want you to do, instead of confining her to her bed for a day i'm going to make it four days and on the fourth i shall return and examen her and then we shall see if she has made any proggess. Yes doctor I shall do as you have told me. Good replied the doctor. As he turned to leave he asked. Do you know of a Brigget. No sir replied Eliza may i ask why. Well said doctor Galbraith Anne spoke of someone named Brigget. Well sir I shall see if I can find anything from Anne. Thank you said the doctor. And with that he turned and left. In her room Anne sat all alone in her bed. Oh what am I to do? I can't just sit here and do nothing while my countrys under constant threat of a assault from italy. I can bear the thought of not being abile to attend the diner party, I did not wish to attend it anyways. I do not belive that the duchess tolorates me at all really, she has always been distant with me every time I see her. Oh how I wish I could see Brigget again, I was so close to finding out what this terrible deed of Achans was. At that moment there was a gentle knock on the door. Come in said Anne. I have a message here for ya ma'am. It was Margret. Who is the letter from? I don't know ma'am. Well do not just stand there idly make haste you silly girl said Anne. Yes ma'am replied Marget. Not being able to jump out of bed and receve the letter herself made Anne irrateded, and what was worse was that margret was moving slow which made Anne angry. Hurry up Margrat hurry up! shouted Anne. Marget briskly walked toward her, when she arrived at the bedside she handed her mistress the letter. Anne hastely started to open the letter, then seeing Marget still standing by her side stoped and looked at her and gave her leave to go. With a proper curtsy Margret left her young mistress alone. When the door was shut Anne opened the letter to where she could read it, written in red ink were two words. 'He's dead!'
