"Or he'll not be a true love of mine" Ended Anne.

Applauses filled the room, as Anne and Edward arose to take a bow.

"Agh, how delightful, just delightful. Sighed Queen Elizabeth. "Please do you know anymore?

" I know 'Lavenders Blue', but I do not know if Edward knows the duet.

"Why of course he does Anne, he wouldn't be a English man if he didn't."

"Alright then," Said Anne annoyed "Edward would you please do the introduction please?"

" Of course." Smiled Edward.

" Lavenders blue dilly dilly....."

A minute later Anne and Edward were sitting by the fire place talking to one another.

" You sing and play beautifully!" Said Edward.

"Why thank you, you as well." Replied Anne.

"I hope you've enjoyed your stay here in England." Smiled Edward.

"Oh it's wonderful, tho I am a bit home sick." Sighed Anne.

"I hope you won't be leaving us soon."

"Well I was going to return This monday."

"So soon? I was hoping to perphaps get to know you better.... If that is of course is alright with you." He replied.

" I would'int mind at all.... I suppose I could stay for another week or two." She smiled.

" That would be grand." Said he, then he glanced at his pocket watch. "Would you perphaps walk with me in the garden? We could talk some more and we would'int be so hot."

"Alright then Edward do lead the way."

And with that Edward offered Anne his arm and off they were down the corridor. It was a lovely garden almost like the one that Anne had back in scotland. It had a small pond with water lillies and poppy's of beautiful colors, some purple, some red, and in the middle of the garden where roses, white roses in fact. There were others of course but Anne seemed to adore these flowers most.

" How eqsuisite!" Exclaimed Anne.

" Do you like it?" Asked Edward.

"Why I do declare, it's like a secret garden! And it is most beautiful in the moonlight! I could linger here for years and years, and never tire of seeing it."

"Well I'm glad you like it, now tell me what do you fnd most intresting here in England?" Said Edward.

"Do you start all your conversations in this manner?" Said Anne sarcasticly.

"No, but you see I thought we came out here to get to know each other, so I suppose that was the first thing that came to my mind." He laughed.

" Alright then- well let me see what do I find most intresting? I suppose it would be the people."

" The people?" He asked.

"Yes the people, there always so friendly and so easy to talk to."

" Any one in particulare?" He asked shyly.

Anne blushed and lowered her gaze to the ground, but presently returned it to Edward.

"Well." She said blushing still. "If I had to choose it would be- well it would be, you and Mary."

" May I tell you something?" Asked the eighteen year old.

"Of course Edward."

" Well, I just wanted to tell you that I've enjoyed your company so much during these past few days, and also, that I think." Here he paused and looked around. " I think your the most wonderful person I've ever met!"

Anne was suprised but she could'int help feeling flattered, when Edward said this Anne's head was in a wirl of emotions and thoughts, some were thoughts of joy for she thought he was a very attrative young man, but she also thought about the fact that she hasent known Edward for awhile, then she got to wondering about his spiritual life, was he a beliver? Did he accept Christ, personally?

"Edward I'm flattered! I also think highly of you as well."

"Oh I am ever so glad! I say would you join me tomorrow for a hunting expedition?"

" I would be honred Edward!" Beamed Anne. " But I say, we better be getting back, it's afully late."

" Yes I quite agree with you- Well then shall I escourt you?" Asked Edward.

" You shall" Smiled Anne. " And perphaps you could acompany me to my room as well?"

" I would be delighted." Replide Edward with a curious look on his face.

And so they were off once down the long corridor, when finally they arrived at Anne's quaters.

" Well my lady," said Edward. " we have arrived."

" It would seem so!" Replied Anne in return.

" Well then, sleep well and goodnight!"

" Goodnight Edward!" Smiled Anne as Edward walked away. " Goodbye." She said in a wisper to herself.
