"My my!" Exclaimed Mary. " Don't you look just beautiful I'm sure that you'll be the lovliest gal in the 'ole room!"

"Why thank you Mary!" Replied Anne with her cheeks blushing.

"If you don't mind my saying so" Said Mary smiling, " But I daresay you shall be the talk of the city before you depart.

Anne softly smiled then replied.

"My dear Mary, the things you say are always so kind and I want you to know that I am glad to have met you." Said Anne gently.

At that moment there came a knock on the door.

"Yes?" Asked Mary.

"I dont mean to interrupt, but dinner shall be served in exactly ten minutes." said the servant. Is Queen Anne ready yet? You know how puncutal her Majesty is!"

"Don't you worry your pretty lil 'ead, Queen Anne's gettin into 'er shoes as we speak." Laughed Mary.

"We can always count on you can't we Mary?"

"I do hope so! Now you go on now- well let me see 'os this Alfred?"

" Why of course!" He replied.

"Alright then Alfred" Said Mary "I'm just putting on the finishing touches on Queen Anne's dress."

"Alright then Mary- goodbye! -And good bye milady" he said to Anne

"Goodbye Alfred" said Mary and Anne in unisoun.

Five minutes later Mary escorted Anne to the dinning room. When they entered no one could resist smiling, Anne was wearing a beautiful blue and gold dress that draged along the floor, she also had a maching head dress, and her hair was braided down her back and had lilies tied in the braid. Anne then caught Edward in the corner of her eye staring in awe.

"My dear Anne!" Exclaimed Elizabeth, "My you do look lovely, just lovely, don't you think so Henry?

"Yes my dear." Said the king annoyed. To this Elizabeth payed no atticion.

Then they were all called to dinner. At the table Anne was seated across from Edward. After silence some silence Elizabeth began to speak.

"My dear Anne have you meet Edward?"

"I have seen him of late." Replied the young queen. "And have heard many praises in Scotland."

"Agh and what do you think of him now that you have seen him? Are the rumors true?"

"No not at all, praises arent enough." Said Anne smiling at Edward (who was blushing).

After dinner they all retierd to the parlor so that Anne could read aloud to them. As she did Queen Elizabeth looking at Edward as he watched Anne read.

" My dear Anne tell me can you play the piano forte?"

"Yes I love playing it!" Exclaimed Anne, who really did enjoy playing.

" Well then tell me can you play any duets?" Qestioned Elizabeth

" I know 'Ave Maria' It's one of my childhood favorites."

" Oh, but is that not a catholic hym?" Asked Elizabeth.

"Yes it is" Replied Anne.

"Oh but you can't be catholic!" Exclaimed Elizabeth

"And why ever not?" Snapped Anne

"Because it is the law!"

"Who's law may I ask?"

"MY law, I could have you KILLED.But" She said more calmly. "Since you are new and do not know are ways I shall pardon you this once."

" Thank you" Said Anne rather coldly.

"Now child, do you know any other duets?"

"Only one other, It's 'Scarborough Fair'."

"Well then my dear,the piano forte is just in the other room."
