Whereever the Wind Takes Me

chapter 6

Sun is shining on my face, right on my eyes. I grunted and rolled out of bed.

I went to the kitchen cause i smell food. What? I'm a growing girl, I need food. I saw Chase and is parents eating breakfast. They greeted me with a smile. How can they be so cheery in the mornings?

I went over to the table, where i see my food has already been served. Chase stood up and kiised my forehead, " Did you sleep well?" he asked with that amazing smile.

" Very, Thank-you for what yall did last night. And once again i would say I am severly sorry for what happened." i said trying to not start crying again. Chase grabbed my hand comferting.

"It wasnt your fault sweetheart." Claudia said with that intoxicating smile of hers.

I nooded and started eating. After i got done eating 4 eggs, 6 slices of bacon, 3 biscuits, and 4 slices of suasages, i hopped up put my plate in the sink and went up stairs to get ready for school.

I don't really feel like straightening my hair, so i put my hair up in a high ponytail and put on some blue jeans and my Alabama Crimson Tide footbal shirt. I love that team!! and matched it up with my white Toms.

I packed some soffee shorts, one of my volleyball t-shirts, my volleyball shoes, and knee pads for practice. I met up with Chase at the bottom of the stairs, he greeted me with a kiss. He looked gorgeous with his kakais shorts and Green t-shirt. Good Lord, he was hot!

We said our goodbyes to his parents and left for school. When we got in his car he intertwined our hands, his thumb brushing over my hand. When we got to school, I saw Shelby and I ran over there to her. I told Chase i would see him 1st block, he nodded and kissed my forehead before leaving. The glory of school is, since me and Chase were in Honors classes, we have all classes together.

I sat down with Shelby, " Now what is wrong?" I was about to reply when she said," your pregnant arent you?" she said with fear in her eyes,

"No! Why does everyone think I'm suddenly pregnent!?" i said frustrated.

"Because you and Chase been seeing each other for quite a while." she said clearly amused.

"Well, I am a virgin!" we both are now rolling on the floor in laughter. This is why I love Shelby, she makes me laugh when i don't want to!

" Okay so what really is going on?" she asked curiously. She looks like a phychiatrist!

I told her the whole stary about what happened at my house, and chase's house. Just telling the story i was in tears. Good Lord I am so emotional! I need to straighten up before practice!

"Oh My Gosh! I am so sorry that happened to you!" she said also in tears. Then, we hugged each other, crying. We probably looked like a couple of hormonal teenage girls who is PMSing. Great!

"What are you gonna do?" She asked curiously.

"Live with Chase and his parents til i graduate?" I said, very unsure of what i really was going to do.

"Do you know what people are going to think!?" She said in horror.

"I know! They will probably think Chase knocked me up. But, at this point i don't have any other choice." she agreed with me and we triple dog swore that we wouldn't tell anyone about what happened. As soon as I stood up I heard something in the bushes. I ignored it and went to my locker for first period. I saw Chase leaning against my locker. He kissed my forhead when i reached him.

"Hey, How did everything go?" he looked at quizally.

"Good, I just told Shelby what happened yesterday. She also thought i was pregnant." i said chuckling.

He laughed along with me. I did my combination to my locker, as i saw the one person who hates me, Katie. She is also on the volleyball team with me, she is the hitter's captain. She absolutely despised me for being the top volleyball player on the team, and she was number 2. Every time i would try to set her up she wouldn't get out of my way so i could, and i would get knocked down. Coach saw this and she would get in trouble. I would try to be nice to her, but she is relentless. Like, she is out to get me. She looks like she is getting something out of her long brown hair, but i didn't pay no attention, until she came up to me.

"Are you ready to get beat in practice today, Miller?" She said with an evil grin on her face.

"Let's just let our skills be the judge of that, Matthews." i said glaring at her. She hates being called by her last name as much as i do.

"You know I am going to crush you today, right?' She said with a grin.

" Whatever you say, Katie. But lets remember who has the most captainship, shall we?' She looked like she was about to blow up with anger. Then the bell to first block rang. I gave her a smile and headed off to class with Chase and Shelby.

I will show her who is best, if its the last thing i do.
