“Wahhh~.” I yawned trying to keep from falling to sleep. Classes here are so boring, I feel like they pretty much talk monotone on purpose just waiting for you to fall asleep. “Clair Bear!” The voice yelled from behind me.

I flinched momentarily. I didn’t even have to turn around to know who was calling me. “I told you not to call me that.I grummbled to him.

He just smiled even larger, if that was possible. “Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed~.” He teased.

I ignored him and just continued walking home. “More like the floor.” I mumbled to myself.

I felt a pair of strong arms grab me from behind and pull me away from the direction I was going. “Na, ah, ah.” He tisked. “We have a meeting about tomorrows tournament.” He instructed.

I tried to pull out of his grasp anyway. “I don’t care! I’ll win, what more is there to know!” I whined, slumping down on the ground.

He could only stare with his childish eyes. “You’re one of those people who get cranky without sleep aren’t you?” he questioned.

I pouted. “Everyone needs sleep, okay? I just need more than others!” I shouted, frustrated.

I saw him cringe at the volume of my voice. “The quicker you go, the quicker you can leave.” He tried to persuade me.

I just seemed to slump on the floor even more. I saw him get this bright idea on his face; he’s easy to read like that. “If you get up and go to the meeting I will personally make sure that I will win tomorrow!” he said getting pumped.

Me being half asleep almost just sighed and got up, not even caring at the moment. “Whatever.” I said, walking towards the clubroom.

I opened the door to be met with the radiant smile of Fuji, too radiant at the moment if you ask me. I walked past him not even bothering to say hello and sat on the comfortable looking chair in the corner, curling up into a ball.

They all just blinked. Momo went to try and wake me up, but quickly got stopped by Ryoma. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you. If she’s anything like she was when she was living with me, she’ll bite your hand off.” He said frankly.

“Listen up regulars!” Tezuka’s booming voice seemed to shake the room, waking me up slightly.

“Tomorrow we play St. Gakuen Rudolph. I want you to all go out and do your best.” He said confidently.

“And remember,” he started.

“Don’t let your guard down.” I finished, surprising the rest. “We know mother.” I complained.

A tick mark appeared on his head. Momo quickly jumped to my rescue. “D-don’t mind her! S-she doesn’t know what she’s saying! Look at her, she’s half asleep.” He stuttered nervous for my own safety.

I pushed his hand out of the way and stretched my arms. “No, I’m not. We just have to win right? How hard could it be?” I questioned. “We have one of the strongest captains in the district not to mention the tennis prodigy, Fuji, on or team. Unless Fuji has an evil twin I think we’re good.” I mumbled trying to wake up.

Everyone seemed to advert their eyes from me, which I immediately took notice too. “What?” I said bluntly.

Then it hit me, I looked to Fuji with realization. “Please don’t tell me you have an evil twin.” I pleaded.

He put a hand behind his head sheepishly. ”Not exactly.”

“What do you mean not exactly?” I asked cautiously.

The room remained silent. “He has a little brother who wants to exact revenge on him.” Inui said plainly.

I face palmed. “Great, it’s like we’re going up against Sasuke Uchiha himself.” I mumbled.

Inui agreed with me. ”He used to go to this school, but transferred after making a name of being Fuji’s brother and nothing more.”

I sat and listened to the rest of the conversation. “So then what do we do?” Taka asked worriedly.

Inui put a hand to his face in concentration. “We’ll definitely have to change our original plans to cope with this, not to mention the new team manager too.” He thought out loud.

“Wait, they have a new manager too?” Momo questioned.

Inui nodded.”Yes, and I’m afraid he is quite the sneaky one as well.” He informed us.

“Hold on.” I said. “One issue at a time. Let’s deal with the avenger first shall we?” I proposed.

Inui agreed. “We should cover what we’re going to do with him.” He said again.

“It’s obvious he’ll want to go up against Fuji too, what should we do?”  Oishi asked.

“Just switch the order of people we had before.” I blatantly said.

My eyes shone, clearly calculating all options of the scenario. “Switch it last minute though, so they can’t get a hold of any information. You did say this new manager was sneaky right?” Inui nodded. “Then this should cover that.”

Ryuzaki nodded. ”Good idea, then I guess the meeting is adjourned untill tomorrow then. We’ll meet at the tournament site early got it?” She ordered. We all nodded.

As everyone was getting up though I quickly stopped Fuji. “Then I guess there’s only one more thing to find out right?” I asked him straightly.

He looked up at me confused. “There is?” I nodded.

“Are you okay with this?” I asked quietly making sure no others could hear us.

I saw him freeze up a bit, but soon resume his relaxed position. “Why wouldn’t I be?” He questioned with that ever-present smile.

I looked at him sternly. “I told you, your brother is like Sasuke Uchiha, the only question is are you Itachi?” I breathed.

“What do you mean?” He asked again, his smile now gone.

I looked at him briefly before walking out and whispering. “If you play’d against him would you let him win because of your guilt?” I closed the door behind me on my way out, leaving him to think about it..

I’d have to keep an eye out for what’s going to happen tomorrow, I didn’t need anyone screwing up our plan. Even if it was Fuji in the end, our team is going to nationals and that means that everything is to run smoothly, and I’ll make sure it all goes according to our plan.
