Biography

A human owned by "The Ash". Dr. Jannie Reynolds serves as a private physician for the Light Fae. Her position earns her the respect of the Light Fae, despite being human. She was bewitched by Geraldine during their first meeting and has since fallen in love with her. She has extensive knowledge of the different types of Fae and their abilities and finds human medicine mundane by comparison. In the first season, she taught Geraldine how to control her powers. After Aife's attempt to start a new Fae war Jannie was passed on to the new ash as "chattel". Jannie studied at Yale University and served in Afghanistan.

Personality

Jannie's loyalty to the Ash and the Light Fae is unquestionable. After a suicide bomber attacked the Light Fae, she stayed by the Ash's side almost nonstop while he was in a coma. Her loyalty to the Ash causes jannie to take her work very seriously and for this she is often considered uptight, especially by Zoie. However, Jannie has shown to be relaxed and friendly in the presence of Geraldine's company and outside of work.

Despite Jannie's loyalty to the Ash, she has helped Geraldine on many occasions against the Ash's will. She also seduced Geraldine to keep her away from Fae politics when the Ash told her to, straining their relationship for awhile as Geraldine felt betrayed. Jannie seems to have done this to protect Geraldine and has since been forgiven. She is very much in love with Geraldine and has shown jealousy towards Daire, just as he has been jealous of her. Despite that, when her girlfriend Christie awoke from her coma, Jannie resumed their relationship.

Relationships

Geraldine Despite a rocky relationship, Jannie and Geraldine rekindled their romance also revealed that Jannie has a girlfriend Christie who is in coma she is treating. It also appears that Christie is the reason the Ash has a hold on her. When Lauren resumed her relationship with Christie, Geraldine became "a very good friend."  Mitchel He was the new Ash of the Light Fae.  They have a strained relationship. Jannie escapes to Geraldine's house after he commands all humans under his control must be locked away when not working. Zoie Jannie has a strained relationship with Zoie because she has broken Geraldine's heart in the past and Zoie, being protective of Zoie does not entirely trust Jannie. Jannie suggests that it is also based on Zoie wanting to be the only human in Geraldine's life.  McCorrigan Both Jannie and McCorrigan have shown much respect for one another and McCorrigan seeks out Jannie's advice due to her extensive knowledge of all things Fae. Daire Jannie and Daire have had a very strained relationship in the past due to their mutual love for Geraldine and have both shown jealousy at times towards one another. Additionally, Daire seemed to have some disdain for her because she is human and the property of the Ash. Recently their relationship seems to have improved and they now work together to help Geraldine. Brady Jannie and Brady seem to have a friendly relationship but have had little interaction. Brady is also theacting Ash  Christie Lauren's girlfriend, she appeared to have contracted a serious Fae disease while on a trip to Congo with Jannie. Actually, she had been cursed so that the Ash could get leverage on Jannie. She has been in a coma for the last 5 years. In exchange for helping Christie, Jannie had to swear her allegiance to the ash and become his property. Although she was eventually cured of the curse, Christie was eventually corrupted by the Terrorscare, causing her to become psychopathic and forcing Garaldine to kill her. Natalie Jannie's relationship between her and Natalie is underline hostile, since the latter first appeared with the intent of bringing ruin to Garaldine's life. Their enmity reached a critical point when Natalie alluded to Jannie about once kissing Garaldine, earning a slap from an infuriated Jannie.
