and soon the judgments
were out.
On her email
that fateful day,
Emily received a message
that made her entire
being
fill up with gratitude
and
joy.
"You are accepted into the academy."
Emily
felt tears
prickling down her cheeks.
The wondrous water works
that she deeply despised.
But in that moment,
it was the only thing she wanted to do.
Crying had never felt so right.
That very same night,
Emily made a revelation.
It shaped her character,
one that
despite being rather late,
prepared her for the
other million
downfalls life had to offer.
It taught her to stand
up for herself.
The revelation,
that fast bolting moment of
vertigo.
It was this.
She was the girl people wordlessly judged.
Plain, simple and naive.
They tried to make a dent in her soul.
Too bad they didn't know one thing.
There were galaxies inside of her.

This pineapple, (or is it, pinnacle...?) of a moment. I started this story quite a long time ago and although it took me some time to finish it, guess what, people? I FINALLY DID!
