Chapter 2

Me and Jacob finished playing video games about two hours later. Me being the winner of a tragic game of call of duty.

I got on Jacob's back and made him carry me up the steps because I didn't feel like walking. He put me down in front of my door.

"Goodnight Jacob" he smirked giving me the finger before going into his room.

I woke up taking a long warm shower hoping to get rid of my nerves. I easily learned that it doesn't help. I guess movies do not portray factual information.

Anyway, I'm getting ready for a job interview.

Yay!

To be some lucky persons Personal Assistant.

Totally awesome Dudes and Dudettes!

Yeah no I'm just messing with you....

I decided to wear a simple long blue skirt, a white button up and black heels. I put my hair in a messy bun with light makeup. I checked myself in the mirror just to make sure i was decent.

Of course I was.

I walked downstairs and was greeted by Jacob sitting on the counter eating cereal. I smiled sitting next to him putting my head on his shoulder.

"JAAAACCCCOOOOBBB" he looked down at me raising his eye bow.

"What do you want?" he said eating another spoonful of cereal

"Can you give me a ride?" he rolled his eyes before nodding throwing his bowl in the sink. I grabbed my purse walking behind him out of the door.

"So, where is this mystery place that Im taking you." I smiled rolling my eyes before answering

"It's a architect building looking for a Personal Assistant. It's downtown across from the big bank" His eyes widened before going back to normal, Im pretty sure I wasn't supposed to catch that.

"What? You've heard of that before?" He shook his head turning to the window. It was obviously a lie but I didn't complain about it. We sat in silence for the rest of the ride. I didn't mind it was just weird.

We came to a stop and I got out waving to Jacob.

I walked into the tall scary building going to the elevator. I pushed the button that would take me up to the 64th floor.

There was a nice blond receptionist in her late 20's who greeted me.

"Hello, how can I help you?" I smiled taking a deep breath before speaking

"I'm Danielle Smith, I have a interview with Mr. Lancaster." She nodded typing something in the computer before telling me to have a seat.

I have been sitting here for 5 minutes but it feels like its been hours. A tall man in a blue suit came out. He looked really familiar but I couldn't figure it out.

"Danielle?" I stood up walking towards him taking his outstretched hand and shaking it. I was beyond nervous now but I tried to get past it.

We went into a very large office. I sat across from him trying not to fidget with my hands.

"So, you think you can be a Personal Assistant for my son?" I look up at him

"Yes sir I do." he nods and writes something down

"Okay, I only have one question for you" I look up nodding

"What is half of two plus two" I raised my eyebrow but answered anyway
