Explanations

1. Started my sophomore year (it's ridiculous)

2. Been working all summer

3. Got stuff together for one of my friends wedding (which was yesterday)

I'm sorry! But, I should be back to regular updates now so that's a good thing!

~Adrian's POV~

The drive to the hospital was very nerve wrecking. All I could think off was the worst scenarios.

What if she's brain dead?

What if she's paralyzed?

What if she's mute?

What if she lost her memory?

I sighed getting the thoughts out if my head.

'I am just over reacting.' I keep telling myself but it doesn't seem to work

The drive felt like hours and my mind wouldn't rest, every situation going through my mind.

I made it to the hospital in a record time of 10 minutes to the usual 25 minutes it takes to get here.

I hoped out of the car almost getting hit in the process. I got inside ran into the waiting room going right up to the desk

The receptionist was popping her gum looking at the computer. I cleared my throat and he looked up at me raising her eyebrow

"Danielle Smith" she looked at her computer screen moving a little to slow for my liking

"She's in critical care room 609 and who are you?" She looked up at me

"I'm her fiancé" She typed something else in the computer and looked back to me

"Im not supposed to let more than one person up there but you can go. Take this left to the elevators on the right side go to the 6th floor and your going to go into side A1 her room will be on the left." I nodded running down the hall to the elevator

I got off at the 6th floor side A1 looking for her room. Once I found it I hesitated before going in.

I opened the door, Maria immediately jumping up looking frantic once she saw me.....

"Adrian bef---" I didn't give her a chance to finish her sentence

"What the hell happened to her?" Maria audibly gulped looking from me to Danni before speaking

"It was all a misunderstanding an accident really..." I looked at her to continue and she sighed

"Around two I was cleaning around the house like I usually do when I heard strange noises. I walked down the hallway hearing a window open and shut." I looked at her raising my eyebrow

"How does that lead to this?" I say pointing to Danni

"Long story short, I took things into my own hands, in my defense I thought it was a burglar..... I didn't realize it was her until it was too late" she said the last part looking away from me

I sighed running a hand through my hair looking at Danni. After awhile she started moving.

Maria looked at me and back at Danni.

"What the hell?" Danni spoke looking between me and Maria

"Danni, I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was you" Danni looked at Maria smirking

"Don't worry about it, it actually makes me feel safer having you around." Maria smiled sitting next to her

"So how are you feeling?" Danni shrugged her shoulders

"I've been better" Maria laughed and looked up at me

"Want anything from the cafeteria?" Danni smirked

"Chocolate" Maria nodded and turned to me

"I'll leave you two, I'll be right back" Maria left the room and I walked over to Danni. She rolled her eyes looking the other way.

She wasn't even looking in my direction. Yea I was a little hurt by that.

"Danni look..."

"I don't want to hear it, please just go... I don't feel good and I don't want to hear your excuses or explanations " I looked at her immediately feeling bad but nonetheless I turned walking out the door

I've screwed up once again!
