Chapter 8
~Adrian's POV~
Not only is it pouring but now there's lightning and thunder too. I knew Danni was pissed but she tried not to show it
"Supposed to be warm the rest of the day right?" She shook her head as we continued walking.
"Ok, maybe I was wrong" she stopped walking raising her eyebrow
"Maybe is an understatement sunshine and thunderstorms are far from being related" she scoffed and continued walking in silence until she spoke again
"Can we go back" she looked at me desperately
"No we're already halfway there and late" she pouted
"I'm scared" I looked at her smirking
"Says the girl who sits outside during thunderstorms" she rolled her eyes
"That's when I'm dressed properly and there's real lightning but seriously can we go back" she pleaded
"No" I deadpanned
"But it's raining and my dress is ruined and they'll judge me" she looked pretty mad about that situation
"No one will judge you and I think the dress is fine" she punched me
"Why? Because its now see through and stuck to my skin?" I smirked shrugging my shoulders only to get punched again
We finally made it to my dads house and we knocked on the door him answering immediately
"Hel- what the hell?" Danni pointed at me and my dad looked at me shaking his head
"Another Adrian weather prediction I see" Danni cut her eye at me and I was actually afraid
"Yep and he made us walk and he wouldn't let me turn around it was so horrible and cold and wet" I swear she made it over dramatic purposely just to get my dads reaction
"Adrian Justin Lancaster that is no way to treat your fiancée I'm still surprised so found someone like her and then you go out and treat her bad I've taught you better than that" I walked over to Danni hugging her
"I'm so so so sorry " my dad looked at me shaking his head
"Kiss ass" I looked at him my mouth wide open Danni laughing
"I'll be right back" I looked at Danni nodding as she walked away
~Danni's POV~
I walked up the steps going into Adrian's old room lifting the mattress pulling out the bra and underwear I left her a while ago. I walked to Adrian's dresser hoping he didn't take everything out yet.
Smiling I pulled out a pair oh white basketball shorts which surprisingly fit me. I also found a black T-shirt that was to big but it works for the time being.
I walked down the steps to have both of them staring at me raising an eyebrow.
"What? I was cold" Ash looked at Adrian smirking
"Yup she's definitely the one for you and to celebrate that we're going to have drinks."
I closed my eyes this night was only going to get worse....
