Walking into school to see Liam and Karma hand in hand, is not what I was really looking forward too. I guess I should've expected it though.
As I walked over I said, "Red Rover, Red Rover, send Karma right over."
In a very sarcastic way I should say. Liam scurried away and I actually caught myself watching him go. I snapped out it immediately and focused on Karma.
"So, movie night, should we watch the documentary on the Egyptian Revolution, or the one on Indonesia Death Squads?"
She gives me a look.
"Oh, too dark? There's one prison talent shows."
"I know that Friday has traditionally been movie night, but traditions evolve. For instances did you know Friday use to be called-
"Go on your date Karma. It's not a big deal."
"Are you sure?"
Ugh... don't make me change my mind.
I nodded.
"Yay! This will be our first date."
So what, I already went on a date with him! Well... I guess that wasn't a date.
Fast Forward to lunch and Karma's still talking about Liam. Awe... poor puppy. I don't really feel that her relationship is exclusive, but whatever floats her little Karma boat.
Afterwards, I'm stuck on a coach with Lauren flicking through movies. Shane walks in and scares the shit out of Lauren. It was kind of funny.
He's trying to take me out, but I am in no mood. I still go... because he's Shane, and he would go with me if I asked him. Lauren tags along and we both get dressed.
As I'm at the party, not really having a good time, Karma calls me.
I roll my eyes and answer, "Hey. Aren't you supposed to be on a date with your boyfriend?"
"On a date, yes, with my boyfriend, no. When I called him that he called me his "muse.""
I actually wanted to laugh, but I made a face right away and she knew I would. I listened to her babble on until she hung up.
I almost got hit with a crate when I saw the girl I met and Liam's lame party. She flirted and I brushed it off. She's cute, but she's no Karma or Liam right now. Yes, I'm also thinking about Liam. But he can't even commit to Karma, how would be able to commit to me? Okay what am I saying? I have to get those two out of my head. Oh and Lauren just took ecstasy, so I have something to focus on... great.
I accidentally spilled the beans to Lauren and she locks herself in a closet of places. Like I didn't have enough on my mind!
Karma calls me yet again and I feel obligate to answer.
"Liam just called me his wife!"
"Did you just say wife?!?"
"I mean, I was hoping someday, but a little further down the road."
I roll my eyes.
Ugh, Karma please. That's never going to happen...
"Karma it's too hard for me to hear this!"
"Okay, can you pause your movie?"
"No! I mean you can't talk to me about Liam! I said you could, but there's a limit and I've reached it! Plus, I'm at a super cool underground dance party. Congrats on the wedding." I said as I hung up.
Screw this... I'm visiting the DJ.
"Hey! Can I get your number? I asked when I finally climbed up to her booth. "I think we should go out."
"What? I can't hear you." She says through her earphones.
"I think we should go out on a date!" I said again and she smiled. "You heard me the first time, didn't you?"
"I just like messing with you, shrimp girl."
"I also sometimes go by Amy."
"Reagan."
I smiled as she put the headphones on me and we jammed for the rest of the night.
The next morning, I called Karma and apologized. I also told her about Reagan. It's not fair that I take my anger out on her because I'm a conflicted soul. I love Karma, I have feelings for Liam, which I'm not sure about, and then there's the new girl Reagan. I like Reagan, and she can be the perfect person to get my mind off of Karma and Liam. Who knows where this new relationship will go?
