(5 months later)

"You're not ready yet?" Liam says looking over to me.

I was in my undies with Nova in one hand and my tooth brush in the other.

I went to the sink to spit.

"Well anytime you want to pitch in, that'd be great."

I rinsed.

Liam chuckles and as he walks over and reaches for Nova. She smiles and leans in to him.

"Shouldn't mommy be dressed already? Yes. Yes, she should." He coos to her.

I roll my eyes and grab my floss.

In 30 minutes, I'm dressed and ready to go.

"Hey? Do you think my dress is a bit too much?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Karma picked it out for me... I just think it looks a bit bridal."

"Why would you let Karma pick your clothes? You have very different taste in clothes."

"True, but it's always something we said we were going to do. So we did it. I pick out her outfit, she picks out mine. At the time it was her only chance to get me in a dress. Little did she know, I would somewhat become accustomed to them."

"I think you look great in anything... and nothing."

"Oh okay. Let's go."

He laughs as I grab my gown and purse and head out the door.

We met everyone at the school. Our parents were already there. And I mean ALL of them. Liam's sister/mom waved at us from the bleachers as we walked into the gym.

She rocked Nova on her hip.

I'm really glad Liam's family is getting more involved in our lives. In a positive way that is.

After all the speeches, it was finally time for us to walk. Liam and I went first. When I sat back down I notice a familiar face in the crowd.

It was Lauren. She was sitting next to my mom. And they actually seemed okay.

I nudged Liam and steered him to that direction. He noticed quickly and put a comforting hand on my knee. I smiled back as a way of saying thank you.

We took several pictures before leaving the ceremony and then we all went out to eat. We ate at one of my favorite restaurants, Bernie's. It was packed due to it being graduation night.

As Liam, Karma, Shane, and I ordered our food, Lauren walked up to our table.

"Congratulations guys!"

We all stared at her.

"Okay seriously! This has really gone on far enough. It's been months since the baby shower debacle."

"Oh you mean when you embarrassed your "sister" by bringing a bunch of girls Liam has slept with to her baby shower?" Shane snapped.

"I apologized for that. Many times. What else do I have to do to get you guys to forgive me?"

I sighed, "She's right. It's ridiculous to hold grudges. Even though you have a good reason to. Sit down, let's hash it out."

Lauren smiled and sat down next to Shane.

He wasn't pleased.

After we ate, we all headed back to my house. Liam left a while ago to pick up Nova from his sister/mom's house.
