I walked up the stone stairs, and knocked on his door. The door opened and Aidan stepped out.
"Oh. Hi." He said coldly. I couldn't blame him. I mean, I had dumped him, for no obvious reason in middle school. But he didn't know the reason. It was the one thing I hadn't been able to tell him.
"Listen, I sorry. For dumping you. I still love you. Please, please, please, forgive me?" I felt tears welling up in my eyes as he slowly shook his head. I felt despair and my heart sank. I started to turn away, but he stopped me.
"Babe, how could I say no?" He said.
I looked up at him. My eyes shining with tears. "Re-Really? Omg Aidan..." And he embraced me. His grip was strong, reassuring. Tears streaked down my cheeks, and then it happened. Then, we kissed.

I pulled back, breathless. We had kissed for a pretty long time. I realized he was smiling. At me. It had been a long time since I had seen him smile at me. "Oh Anthony. How... How the hell did I ever live with out you?"
His smile broadened. "I don't know, and I never will."
And I was content with that.

<<<Later that day>>>
We met up with Aidan and AJ, her eyes shining with tears. But she was smiling. I looked at Aidan suspiciously, but she shook her head. Apparently, he hadn't been the one to make her cry.
When they left and me and AJ were alone, we talked. Talked about everything. It had been awhile since we had been able to talk, uninterrupted, and alone. We told each other our kiss stories, each giggling when the other got to the part of the big kiss. I laughed 'till I cried when I heard about how she had pretty much begged Aidan to like her again. I had to admit, it must have been quite a sight. I had never seen her beg. Usually it was, 'If you don't, I'll kick your balls inside out.' Soon we had told all that was to be said, and we slowly walked towards the wooded glade. We entered the woods, and settled in the clearing. Then we lay down, in the sleeping bags that Anthony and Aidan had given us. Soon, I heard AJ's even breathing. Before I fell asleep, I couldn't help thinking that this was the life to live.
