~ a few hours later ~
I hear a knock at my door and looked over to see it was 5:27. I look around and realized that Dan and I had fallen asleep. I push him over and get up and walk to the door. I open it to see my dad standing there.
"Hey, Phil. So ummm... You're probably wondering why your mom was here and I wasn't, and how she got in."
"Yeah. That crossed my mind a few times" I replied sarcastically.
"I gave her the spare key, and before you get mad there is a reason for that. We both realized that me never officially got divorced. So she is married to both me and your technical step-dad Joel. So we've decided that we would become one big family."
"You mean like brother husband?!" I said with a (sarcastic) chuckle.
"Yes. Like brother husbands."
"SHE CHRISTIAN. SHE STRAIGHT UP LEFT TODAY BECAUSE OF MY SEXUALITY, BUT SHE THINKS THAT BROTHER HUSBANDS ARE A GOOD IDEA?!"
