BRIDGE FALL

EDITED

How did you get in?” the principle gave me the death glare. He was sitting in his dark, high backed leather chair, leaning forward slightly and twirling a pen in his hand. It was a good try at being intimidating, but he had no authority over me so therefore it wasn’t really doing anything.

“For all I know, I’ve been arrested, so therefore I have the right to remain silent.” I replied coolly.

“You know you haven’t been arrested, so talk.”

I sighed, there’s no way they were going to find out that easily, so I’ll just be dramatic, I’m good at that.

“I… well,” I sniffled, “I don’t know I wasn’t…” I scratch the pack of my neck, acting like I was nervous. “Look, I … I’ll give it to you plain and simple,” they looked hopeful, “I… ok, you know what? I just walked through the damn door, it isn’t that hard to figure out!”

“The Alpha will find out about this!” Luke said, his cheeks flushed from my answer. He was the beta, the one that had grabbed my hood.

“Sure, sure,” I muttered under my breath.

“It looks like you would tell us, so that’s that, but we will look into this, and your on the record from now on. Back to class.”

“Sir!” I bowed and quickly exited. Now for the rest of my boring day.

Oh joy.

My phone buzzed in my pocket, I swore and pulled it out.

“What do you want Luke?” I asked while shoving a piece of my breakfast, a.k.a cold pizza, in my mouth.

“Hey man, how are the meetings going?”

I snorted, “Fine, boring as hell.”

“Ha, glad I wasn’t invited. You know it’s important stuff, since you are- “

“Shut up about the Alpha thing, I only have one more day of this crap before I get out of this boring death meeting.” I grabbed my keys, and started to the door.

“Anyway, theres a new girl, she wants to transfer to our school, she’s from the White Fang Pack. They just moved near by, it’s a small pack, and she’s the only one needing to go to school.”

“Hmm, what grade is she in?”

“She’s a senior, I think, her uncle called in, he says she’s a bit of a troublemaker.”
