(Ally said)Stevie was waking me up with pecks on the cheek down to my neck. I checked the time on my phone.
"Oh my gosh, Stevie! It's seven in the morning! We slept at four and now you are waking me up. Why?!" I said, trying to sound cute but I was honestly really annoyed. I needed my sleep. We were up early morning binge watching Orphan Black.
She was in her work clothes. "We are going to paint our apartment rainbow!" she exclaimed.
"Snooze," I responded as I pressed her like what she had been doing to me every time I wake her up.
"I got your wawa here. I already made you coffee. There's also breakfast in the kitchen. Then I already cleared the other room so we can start painting there."
"Turning volume down to mute."
"Allison Don. We can nap later."
"Snooze for another ten minutes."
"Alright. I give up."
Stevie walked out of the room. I considered sleeping more but I heard a car engine starting. I got up and checked the garage--she drove away.
She really prepared what she said she did--enough to make me feel bad. I tried calling her but I kept on reaching her voice mail. I was worried sick.
So I just began the chores. I cleared the kitchen after having breakfast alone. I also put away our stuff that could get in the way once we start painting.
After an hour or so, she was not yet home. I just waited outside. Ziggy and Whiskey kept me company.
"Stevie!" I ran to the garage when her car arrived. I helped her unload the DIY stuff from the trunk. "I am so sorry."
She did not respond. She just handed me paint cans to bring inside the apartment. As we walked back to the apartment, I hugged her from the back.
"I was so lost when you left," I said. "Please do not ever leave like that again."
"I will never leave unless you ask me too, Ally," Stevie said.
"I will never ever leave even if you ask me to. Ha-ha."
She laughed too. "Stop being clingy. Ha-ha."
"My home is where you are, Stevie."
"Mine is where you are, Ally."
We stayed like that for a while until I felt the weight of the paint cans.
"Shall we start? My arms are already hurting and we haven't even started."
Stevie laughed.
We worked two days non-stop--painting, building and rearranging furniture, exchanging silly banters and stealing kisses to each other. We could finally call the apartment our home.

I woke up to Ally by my side. I was surprised to find her on bed at this time. I kissed her and she was burning as hell.
"Ally, you're hot!" I said, panicky.
"Yes, I get that a lot. Ha-ha. Morning Stevie," Ally said as she got up and kissed me on my cheek. I could feel her warmth. "Let me make you coffee then I will drive you to work."
I held her shoulder and got her to lie down again. "Just stay there. Let me take care of you." I covered her with a blanket and gave her a kiss.
She pulled away, "My hotness is contagious, babe. I do not want you to be sick too."
