SOOO SORRY FOR THE WAIT GUYS!! I'm gonna be real here. I have to finish school as soon as I can because I have someone waiting to wife me up somewhere so university is insanely busy for me. But I've been sick this week and in my bed-ridden haze, I wrote a chapter! Please forgive me for the horrendous spelling/grammar mistakes and thank you for the continued love! xx

My jam/ song to the side when they're in the car

"Thanks again for making dinner Inayah. Saved us a trip to get some," Saf bhabhi smiled gratefully at me as I helped her put away the last of the dishes. They got back home this afternoon and we'd all be back at school the next day.

I gave her a light smile back and then sat down at my usual spot at the breakfast bar. I needed to tell Yusuf what happened but the how was becoming a very difficult question to answer.

"Just tell me what's on your mind before you rub your face off," Bhabhi chuckled and I realized I was nervously running my hands over my cheeks. I slipped my hands underneath my thighs and looked at her with an uneasy look.

"I got a call yesterday. I got offered a job back home."

"That's amazing news. What's the problem?"

On their own accord, my hands came out from underneath my legs and started twisting in my lap. "I would have to go back home..." I realized how bad it sounded out loud. I was forgetting that this relationship was still so new. I needed to be careful before I rushed in so fast that I got hurt.

"What about school?" Bhabhi stood across the counter from me with an unpeeled orange in her hand.

"Well I have enough credits to graduate. This would've been an extra semester anyways."

"You would have to move back home?"

"Yeah," I sighed. Thankfully, there was no judgement, no questioning in her eyes. Safiyana had a really pure heart. Something I admired but also was grateful to be around.

"So what's the job?"

"An internship position as a manager at the Ritz Carlton."

"Our rivals?" Bhabhi gasps dramatically to which I have to laugh. "Congratulations though. That's incredible."

"Thank you. But that's always why I'm stewing. I would have to move and it's at least six months long."

"I think it's great."

I was taken aback by her answer. The curiosity got me and I had to ask why she thought that.

"Well, six months later is the time you guys set for the wedding. You can work, achieve what you want to achieve and still have everything go according to plan. You guys won't see each other every few days like you do now but that's just something you'll have to work with."

She was right. "You are right," I nodded.

"When would you leave?"

"As soon as possible I guess since I'd start there at the end of January."

"So how'd the position come along?" she finally began to peel her orange, which oddly calmed my nerves.

"Well they came to the university for some conference at the end of last year. I went and spoke with the lady I would be interning for now. She knew a professor of mine and she was impressed by my resume, and when I was home for the wedding, I went and saw her again. She said she'd be in touch when I was done school and I guess she found out I was done. She called me when I was at work yesterday."
