Soooo sorry for the delay guys!!! I had to make an emergency family trip out of country literally the day I finished exams and just got back in today. Which is why the chapter is short.... I suck, I know!!! I'm sorry but you guys are the sweetest. Thank you all and continue you're amazing comments! They're so fun to read :D

The song up there is something my cousin just made me listen to and I'm already obsessed and I apologize in advance for those who can't get it out of their head either. It fits Inayah and Yusuf perfectly (Btw, I haven't seen the movie, so sorry for any scarring the music video may cause :P)

"When you come tomorrow, what should I make for dinner?" I asked him as I pulled into the garage of the hotel. Working here was a dream. They gave me a flat and a care for rent for the duration of the internship. I got along with the manager well, and she was really a great teacher. It was six days into the internship and she'd told me that I was going to give her a run for her money.

"How about you just buy dinner and save yourself the time?" he suggested.

"How considerate of you," I snorted. "Alright, I'm at work. I'll see you tomorrow love," I hung up as I entered the lobby of the hotel. I went to my new boss Laura's office. She liked to go over the day's agenda with me as soon as she arrived so I liked getting there just before her to settle in. She came in a couple minutes later with her usual coffee in her hands and a smile on her face. Laura had shared with me a couple days ago that she had moved into a new apartment with her long-time boyfriend so she came in happier and happier every morning.

"I have a meeting that'll be on for hours so mind doing me a huge favour?" she looked to me with worried eyes once she finished her scheduling for the day.

"Sure," I nodded, getting my pen ready to take notes in case it was a lot.

"Can you keep a secret?" she asks, suddenly lowering her voice and coming towards me. I nod again. "They are shutting down one of our hotels in the downtown core. There are investors coming in today who want to see the land but they'll be checking in here first to meet with Henry," she said, referring to the head manager of the hotel. "Can you lead them in and take them into the boardroom in the back and just have them settle in while Henry makes his way over?"

"Of course, that won't be a problem at all," I smiled.

"This is a big deal and they have to be comfortable at all costs. They're coming from the UAE I think so please do everything to make them feel welcome," she squeezed my shoulder. Thanks a lot."

"What company are they from?"

"It was something like A-"

"Laura," her secretary knocked on the door and stuck her head in. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah," Laura grabbed her person, threw me a smile, and ran out. I continued working till Laura's secretary came back in and informed me they were here. I made my way to the front of the hotel and chatted with the receptionist while I waited. A group of two men and a woman came in and the receptionist let me know it was them.

"Asalamualaikum," I greeted them. They looked pleasantly surprised and greeted me back just as positively. "My name is Inayah, and if you'd just follow me. Henry will be with you shortly," I informed them as I led them down the hall. I opened the door of the nicest boardroom and had them all settled in. After refreshments, and some pleasantries, Henry, the executive manager of the hotel, joined them. I left them to their meeting and went back to Laura's office.

I was just putting in the tray of enchiladas when the doorbell rang. My heartbeat picked up without a second of faltering and I presumptuously checked myself in the mirror by the door before opening it. There he stood, my favourite smile in the world, and I mirrored it.
