Dear Diary,

Well, you would never guess who turned up at my bloody shop. Hot guy who I now know his name is Liam. Now I'm going to give you the run down on what happened on this beautiful Tuesday morning.

"Ruby could you go and re-stock the football shirts for me?" My manager Chris asked.

"Of course" Now, what I didn't know was that Chris knew what had happened yesterday so, when he said go and stock the football shirts that was because Liam was in the middle of picking one. With my hands full of shirts, I could only just see where I was going and ended up tripping over something and went straight into, I'm sure you can guess, Liam.

He pushed me off and then once I threw down the shirts and he just looked at me, "sorry, I thought you were a guy and yeah sorry" to which I surprised myself how calm I was, "my fault, I should of looked where I was going. Anyways I'm Ruby"

"Liam" and he shook my hand and looked into my eyes. We stayed like that for what seemed like forever when his blonde friend came bouncing round the corner, "come on Liam, hurry up"

"oh and this is Niall"

"hey" he said. He has blonde hair and amazing blue eyes and to top it all off, he is Irish. I said hey to him and then continued my job and not long after that I turned around to watch them walk out the door.

Why am I so shy. I wished I could make the first move but that's the thing I lacked in. Confidence. The fact I was always so caught up with my dad and wanting to be there for him, I have never really talked to other boys, apart from the hot ones at the football we often went to and now that's proving to be a problem. Wait 1 sec I think my best friend Georgia is here.

***************************

Well it was in fact Georgia. She's my childhood friend and we have been through everything together and I mean everything. She was there for me when my mum and brother died and I was there for her when her dad died. We are both in the same boat and we get on like a house on fire.

I told her about what happened at work today and she was all like,

"you idiot, why didn't you ask for his number or at least say something other than your name!"

"asking for his number is a bit forward isn't it?"

"no Ruby, it isn't! I'm just gunna hang around your work now until he comes in and get him to talk to you!"

"oh please don't, that would be the worst thing you could ever do!"

"just because it will annoy you, I'm gunna do it"

She knew how to get to me and she knew that whenever she gets involved, things sort of come together. She's the one that got me my first kiss. I remember it so well.

'We were both up the football club and there was this guy who I liked the most and we had started talking but I was still shy to talk to him a lot, well until Georgia got involved. She practically told him how head over heels I was for him and he came over to me and told me that he liked me too and after much chatting we sort of kissed but as soon as we did I knew it didn't feel right and luckily he felt the same. The thing is Daz is now my best mate and along with Georgia, has been there for me for about 3 years and the good thing is that the feeling is mutual and there is absolutely no feelings between us, I mean I get on well with his girlfriend too.'

So yeah, she knows what she is doing when it comes to match making but I'm not to sure about her influence in this one, but when she gets started, there is no stopping her.

I have to go now because it's dad's birthday and he has ordered Chinese so I will write again tomorrow, I'm not working but who knows what might happen.
