Chapter 7. Summer lovin' ♪♫
I turned up my iPod dock; I'm playing 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz. Right now I was getting ready to meet Shane's family. I was so excited to meet them, finally, after three years.
I never knew why Shane didn't want me to meet them -I always thought it was because they were super embarrassing or something- but I know now, it's because they're wolves.
I had just finished putting my scene hair in curls. I was wearing a dark navy blue top with two bows, one white one blue, and a long white under top that was peeking out from underneath and some dark blue shorts, some black sneaker wedges, (A/N: links of the outfit and hair at the top) a navy blue headband with a white bow, some little stud earrings and a bathing suit underneath.
All in all I looked kickin' and I was ready to go. I rushed downstairs to the door.
"Going to Shane's house, bye Mom, love you!" I called out.
"That's a first." I heard her say.
I ran and made it to the clearing in about fifteen minutes and leaned up against my favorite tree. I kept getting the feeling that somebody was watching, and every once in a while I would hear branches crunching or some leaves would fall down from trees, and oddly enough there was no wind today.
A loud grumbling sound filled the air and soon Shane came, riding on his ATV.
"Wow, so romantic Shaney bear." I said dramatically.
He smirked. "You know me baby, I'm a hopeless romantic." he said, playing along. He hopped off the ATV, walking up to me.
"No wonder all the girls chase after you," I said, seriously this time.
"Including you?" He started walking closer and I backed up, but he just kept walking until he had me pinned against a small tree.
"No," I said, lying but hiding it better than I had hoped.
"You're lying," he said, more like a statement then a question.
"No I'm not!!" I said, lying again.
"I can hear your heart beat, and it tells me you're lying." His eyes were boring into mine.
"So what if I am?" I said, looking up at him through my eyelashes.
