Today is the day in which I am supposed to die. The reason why I am supposed to die is because as I said before, I am a prosox, and we are not really accepted. I suppose that by this point you will have many questions. How can prosox exist? why am I gonna get killed?
There are two types of prosox: type A prosox are born when an elve falls in love with a non-magical creature, and type B prosox are born when an elve falls in love with a magical creature. That is very strange, because nobody goes to Xeris. Well, we don't go to Xeris, but there is a day in which a magical creature of each kind comes to Zaros. That day is Coronation day, and it only happens when a prince is about to become a King. They do this because magical creatures are the only ones that know the rituals that have to be performed in order for someone to become a King.
Obviously these magical creatures do not do it freely, but because they force them to do this. They are all chained, and if they try to free themselves, they are most likely to be dead. The day of Phoelix XV's coronation day, my father was commanded to watch over the human that had come to Xaros. Even though he won't tell me, i know that he fell in love with her. He has told me that her name was Galinde, and that she was the ugliest human that he had ever seen ( not that he had seen any other human).
My father is a really important elve. He is one of the 7 elve leaders. That is why he is in all of the history books. In the books it says that he and another elve was commanded to watch over Galinde. This other elve was Jarissa, and according to the books she is my mother, and she had died they day I was born. Now, I do not believe any of this. The books also say that Galinde tried to escape that day, and Jarissa was forced to kill her. That is why we now call her Jarissa The Brave.
But if any of this was true I would not be a prosox, and people would remember Jarissa. Everybody tells me that she was very brave, and that I am not a prosox, that I am just special. But whenever I ask someone to talk to me about Jarissa, they are not capable of remembering anything, and they just tell me what the books say.
That is why I know that Jarissa was not my mother, and that she was not the heroine that everybody wants me to believe she was. What happened then?
Well, what I think that happened is that my father fell in love with Galinde, and when the coronation was over she tried to escape. Then, Jarissa tried to kill her, but my father fought against Jarissa and she died. From then on, my father was forced to keep Galinde's true identity secret, and whenever she was around strangers, she pretended to be Jarissa. Then she got pregnant, and when I was born, she died.
I will never know if this is what truly happened, but it is the only explanation that i can find. Other type B prosox like me have existed. Their parents were sentenced to death, and when they turned 16 they were given a choice: either to become an elve, or to die.

FantasyOnce upon a time, in a land far, far away... well, not really. The problem is that if I use that beginning (Once upon a time, in a land far, far away)it will make this story seem less real, and I do not want that. Because I am living this story, and...
