The huge clap of the thunder echoed through the house ans shook us all. I jumped and watched Loki calmly stare out the balcony door. Something bad was going to happen. ''Is there something you two aren't telling me?'' Marco asked curiously with a bag of chips in his hand. ''He's looking for you.'' I announced ignoring my friend. Loki turned and wrapped his arm's around my waist. ''Yes.'' Was his monotonous answer. My eyes widened when I looked up at his face, Not now! Who knows how long we'd be separated this time?
He just nodded and went to apply his armor to his body. ''So just like that you're leaving? Cool.'' Marco smirked and I elbowed him in the ribs. I watched intently as he finished and reached out for me the same time I reached out for him. ''If we're not to see each other again.'' I started to tear up a little. ''No! Don't you say your good-byes!'' I argued and gripped his hands tighter, he just took a moment to put a finger on my lips and shush me. ''You, Beautiful Midgardian girl.'' He cooed softly. ''Have made me fall to my knees and taught me to let go and to love, of course we'll see each other again. And on Asgard. Where you will return and reunite with me as my wife. Thank you for letting me into your heart. He kissed me tenderly and softly and stepped away. ''Protect her, Mortal man, your life depends on it.'' he muttered to Marco, who nodded and put a hand on my shoulder. Loki smiled at me before walking briskly into the storm and vanishing. I folded my arms and smirked. I knew it wasn't the end yet.~
~Nearly a year later~
''Whoa there miss Beauvoir.'' I heard behind me. I turned around to face the stage director in my theater arts classed raised his eyebrows at me as I teetered down from a step ladder. ''Yes, Mr.Pouncy?'' I asked cautiously, had I done something? Was I sagging and he could see my boxers? '' You don't look so good.'' he went on to say. I nodded. ''I don't really feel so good either.'' I admitted and put the lid back on a tube of blue paint. ''Yeah? I don't feel so good either'' I replied oddly. I slung my head to the side and sniffed the air. It wasn't depression, and it wasn't anything else. I just felt woozy for a second.
I trusted Loki, And I knew I’d be back in his arms.
''Isn't your Culture Class taking that trip to Scandinavia? If you're coming down with something.-'' ''I'm not going to miss that trip.'' I argued while I glared up at him. He held his hands up and adjusted his specs. ''Got it. Got it.'' He smirked and I went back to work.
Scandinavia, I haven’t even though about it since the accident. I didn't listen to Mr.Pouncy's rant on the lighting and suddenly found myself eager to go to work. I worked the childcare’s unit as an assistant at our local small town hospital, it wasn't that big. But I liked entertaining the kids and cleaning up puke,Oh joy.
I shook my head clear of anything I was feeling, which was dizzy and tired, I sank to my knees in the hallway so I could catch my breath. My supervisor, Jackie, Came down the hall just in case dark skin, red hair and ready to kick someone's ass if they're messing with her. ''Oh child,Are you okay?'' She asked me. I nodded and looked up. ''Y-yeah I'm fine.'' I lied and tried to stand. ''And I'd be a lot better if someone got me a bucket right now!'' I slurred. She rushed to get one from a supplies closet and put it under my chin, there was a lot of dry heaving until I looked down into the bucket and saw that I had thrown up something that looked dangerously close to golden glitter. I stared into it with horror ..This was bad.
