Illuminated.(A Loki Love Story)

The next few days had been things that i'd never imagined before, yes i went to more sparing sessions with the warriors three, refusing to fight hogun though, Loki had been there to watch me, now a days he watched me with percision, more carefully, we spent alot in the garden, my new favorite place, we had spent almost everyday together,~

i felt happy safe,content with loki's arms wrapped around me,it was pitch dark in our room, the drapes were pulled back, i was awake because i felt bothered, loki's smooth skin was colder than it had been on other nights,it was chilling me, his soft breathing was in my ear, ''are you- still a little frozen over from joutunheim?'' i asked, i wasnt my most intelligent question and i didnt think i was taling to anyone is particular, ''it's not that.'' he answered, i turned to him in the darkness,i couldnt see him,but i could feel where he was, ''do you remember almost freezing to death,at the hand of those monsters,?'' he asked me, i didnt really like to think about that, but i nodded in the absence of light, ''yes.'' i answered, ''how did you feel?'' i thought about it, scared,uncertain,, ''i dont know. how should i feel?'' i asked asked him. ''Repulsed, fearful,terrified.'' i sat up and squinted into the darkness, ''but i'm not.'' i argure,

''sure i almost died and i was scared of that but, i'm not all that scared.anymore.'' i said,catching myself at the end, i felt loki sat up in a haste and grabbed my arm,yanking me to my feet and hauling me to the door, ''where're we going?'' i asked him, i wore a lacy black nightdress and i'm pretty sure my hair was a mess, ''theres something you need to see.'' he growled, i tensed, he pulled me all the way to the other side of the castle, i was tired and my knees shook, we came to a darkened stair case that to gaurds were hovering over. Loki snapped at them in a langauge that i didnt understand. they moved without question, and loki dragged me downstairs, down a darkened hallway where we could see nothing but the shine of the golden steps and the blue glow of something i couldnt see yet,we were confronted by another set of gaurds. again loki muttered something to them in that unearthy tounge, we rounded the corner to see a blue,cube sitting on its own pedestal, ''is that,the casket?'' i ask in realization,Loki let go of my hand and walked towards it. "would you love me, if i were a king?'' he asked, i smiled, ''You'd still be you.'' i say to him. he doesnt return my smile. ''what if i were mortal.'' he asked, he began to reach  for the casket, i nodded, ''you'd still be loki, you're the same person.''

i said, he put his hand on the casket, minute by minute, he began to turn frost giant blue. i stared at him in disbelief as he began to turn frost giant blue, ''Would you love me,-'' he hissed, now his eyes took on that same,frost giant red color, ''You're one of them.'' i realized, ''you're a frost giant.'' he nodded and then took his hand off of the casket. he brushed past me and as he did, the...normal asgardian skin color. ''wait.'' i call, when he doesnt slow up. he continued to walk away from me, i grabbed his arm, ''Loki.'' i say grabbing his arm, "would you love me,''  i begin breathlessly, ''If i were an asgardian?'' he thought about it, ''Techinally,you are.'' he says, i drop my shoulders, ''thats not the point.'' i say, ''Would you love me if i were a goddess?'' ''You'd still be you.'' he responds ''exactly!'' i say, ''i'd still be me.'' i say, ''i want you as you are.'' Loki says, pulling up my face. ''right, i want you exactly as you are.'' i repeat to him, he pulled me into him,snuggling his face in my hair.
