Chapter 28

These past few months,days nights, have made me feel more alive than i had ever felt in my immortal life,,Aorabelle had shared most of her sheer happiness with me, the way she crawled into the middle of the hlin and came out covered in pollen, i laughed to myself. i held a dark green rose between my fingers, it looked as if it were going to rain today, i opened the door to my room slightly, aorabelle was staring at the clouds.  she wore a simple white dress and her hair was down all around her face and down her back, she caught her breath when she heard me come in, i rushed to her in a flash, ''Have you been crying?'' i asked her, she wiped her eyes, ''whats the matter, has someone hurt you?'' i asked putting my arms on her shoulders she sighed and shook her head, ''Its the date.''

she responded ''13 in the ninth month.'' i said, she nodded she sniffed, ''my brother turned 11 today.'' she responded. ''i-'' she held up a finger, ''its ok.'' she said,i sit on the bed and pull her onto my lap. in the back of my mind, i kept seeing the poor, sexy girl tied to my chamber post, now i saw the, beautiful,still very sexy,talented, caring lover that was in my arms, "lets go for a walk,maybe that will take your mind off things, yes?'' she nodded, i handed her the rose and she kissed me on the cheek, it was quiet in the city, there was a little music maybe, and vendors were selling things as usual, necklaces and rings of all sorts, ''Stand right here.'' i told aorabelle, she blinked and stayed where she was, ''eyes closed.''

 she huffed and closed her eyes, the vendor looked over at me, then at aorabelle, ''your companion is quite lovely.'' he said to me, i nodded and replied with a ''thank you.'' my eyes scanned over and locked themselves on moonstone, right now it was green, ''i think she'll like that one,'' i commented, he smiled and nodded, ''may i also recommend this beautiful emerald amulet? it glows according to what she's feeling.'' i purchased them both, the vendor chuckled, i followed his gaze, aorabelle looked dizzy,she still had her eyes closed and she was swaying a bit. i also laughed. what a wonderful sight it was, the vendor bid us good day, ''can i open now?'' she asked me, i put the necklace on her,then the ring, ''now you can open.'' itold her, she looked down and the necklace began to glow at once, ''woah whats it doing?!'' she asked ''it glows according to feeling,'' i told her, it got brighter, ''its beautiful,'' she gushed she placed it right next to the moonstone, ''so you do like it.'' she nodded, ''i love it.'' she said, ''thank you.'' the streets were bustling, children were everywhere, a golden haired child ran to aorabelle and gently pulled on her dress sash, aorabelle flushed and bent down to talk to him.

he began whispering in her ear, she giggled after a while,shook her head, and then giggled again, he smiled, they bowed to eachother and then he was off, ''his mother thought i was your wife.'' she said, i nodded and smiled, ''Have you ever wanted children?'' i asked her, she looked at me funny, ''of course when i got older.'' she responded, ''well i'm 17, when i got older, finished college got more into work and got married i wanted to have kids.two. i wanted a daughter named after the poem lokasenna, from the norse.'' she said, i beamed, ''how flattering.'' i realized, she nodded and smiled a sad smile. i shot her a sad look, she didnt see it, in this second,like many others i felt another pang of guilt, and sadness, it was all my fault, ''whats the matter?'' she asked, i turned away from her, ''lets just continue our walk.'' ~

Today we traveled to vanaheim, the river lands to get away, thor and siti came along, aorabelle and sitit slipped off their shoes to wade in the water, they began to wade and i stared at my beloved as they drifted farther.

These feeling i began to get were almost unreal to me,Aorabelle and siti waded in the water, ora touched the surface gently with her fingertips, a serene smile on her lips, i could feel Thors eyes on me, ''You two have been spending alot of time together,she seems,different. less, hostile towards you.'' i chuckled and looked at him, ''and?'' Thor put a his hand under his chin, '' I've noticed the way you look at her, when she's playing with children, reading. or even when she's doing nothing but standing there,at your side.'' i started to come to a deep realization as thors words sank in, ''Whats your point?'' i asked doggedly, Thor looked at me in all seriousness.''Has thou finally learned to love brother?'' i looked down at thor then at the two girls playing in the river, i closed my eyes shut for a brief second, ''You know brother, i've been acting slightly out of character.'' he nodded and chuckled. ''siti is beautiful.'' he said gesturing to his own, ''as is aorabelle, and yes thor, i,Love her. i Loki, God Of mischief has found someone to love.and she is the only woman i'll love.'' aorabelle looked back, her eyes shining in the sunset and she smiled, i smiled back in complete adoration at her. i had gotten her to finally show her true nature, how she acted on earth and all in the course of a few months thor put a hand on my shoulder, ''you know,if you really loved her,-- i shook my head, ''I Know you dont have to say it.'' i looked down at him, ''Do you even know what i was going to say?'' i looked into my brothers eyes. ''I have to let her go,Dont i?''
