Chapter 53: Halloween Drama

"What are you doing here?" I asked Jake, trying my hardest to be calm.

"I'm Derek's plus one" He smiled.

The reason why I pushed him away the other night was because, I was scared. I already have a love triangle. Last thing I need is a love square. It possible of me to fall for Jake, even if I don't wanna.

"Um. I don't think you should be here." I said, honestly.

"Why not?" He asked.

"Because..." I said but couldn't continue.

"Nice costume by the way" He complimented.

"Thanks" I rolled my eyes.

"So are you going to tell me, why I found you crying the other night?" He asked.

"Wasn't really planning to" I sighed.

"Look Jill. I don't know what your problem is with me right now but I do still care about you and I'll be here when you need me" He said.

"Hey Jake!" Tyler and Derek greeted along with Michael. Ana, Erica, Mariana, Jc and Kian all saw Jake here. And telling from Jc's face he recognized him from the pictures. Great. Just what I need.

"Oh shit" I muttered.

"So this is Jake?" Jc announced.

"Yep. That's me." Jake nodded. "And you are?"

"I'm Jc. Jill's boyfriend." Jc stepped up.

"Ohhh" Jake dragged out. I gave him a questioning look, as he looked at me.

"But guess what? When you mess up, I'll be the one to step up and treat her right." Jake snickered. My jaw dropped.

"If you ever get that chance" Jc replied.

"You've done it once, you'll do it again" Jake stated.

"Okay, thats enough." I stepped in between. Jc looked like he was about to kill someone. I looked towards Jc. "Babe, lets go."

"Which one" Jake asked. I turned around, rolled me eyes.

"The only one I got" I sassed. I turned around, grabbed Jc's hand and walked him over to the kitchen. "Don't listen to him. I love you."

"I love you too" He nodded. I kissed him. "Do you think I messed up?"

"Everyone makes mistakes, Jc." I replied. "We both have made some. And guess what? We moved passed them, because thats how strong we are. The world has turned us against each other, and we came out stronger than before."

"Yea but it still my fault. You shouldn't of met this guy and its because I messed up because I can't keep you because I don't know how to treat you right" Jc stated.

"Jc!" I exclaimed. "If anything I don't deserve you."

"Yea right" Jc muttered and was about to walk away, I grabbed his shoulder. He turned around and snapped, "You don't deserve me!"

"I don't deserved to be loved but I got thay chance!" I snapped. He walked away. I don't know where but he left.

I went to the family room where no one was, and just sat down. I wasn't crying, I wasn't thinking, I was just there, watching the world go by. I don't know how long I was there. I just remember, Ricky finding me.

"Jill! What are you doing here? Everyone is looking for you" Ricky exclaimed.

"Everyone except Jc right?" I asked, emotionless.

"Well. No." He muttered, feeling sorry. "You okay?"

"I'm nothing" I said shocked. I felt paralyzed. My whole body was totally & completely numb.
