• Chapter 52 Too Close •

Mia's POV

Justin was in the studio today figuring out who's going to be his next dance crew. Apparently Scooter believes they were to amateur for what Justin wanted in his music and in his choreographies. Therefore, he's taking me the time to audition his who new Bieber Crew until late afternoon.

I technically had all day to myself and I had just been binge watching Grey's Anatomy which is super addicting. I'm currently on Season 8 and I'm already heartbroken by every episode. It's like become a part of me. Sounds super strange but if you watch this show you know what I mean.

I checked my phone to see that it was around 2:13pm and Justin would be home in a few hours. I decided that I wanted to cook tonight. We usually go out to eat or don't eat at all. I didn't have all the ingredients that I needed to cook so I was gonna go to the store. I grabbed my wallet and car keys and headed to the nearest market.

I was going to make the basic yet most delicious thing ever. Shrimp Alfredo. Something simple, easy and delicious to make.

I quickly entered the store and grabbed everything that I needed. I was now checking out my groceries when someone recognized me.

"Hey, you're Justin Bieber's girlfriend." The girl said to me while chewing her gum in an obnoxious way.

"Uhh yeaah." I said. I handed her my card as she swiped it she looked me up and down and then said something.

"He could do better but who am I to judge." She said and then handed my bags. What a bitch I thought but I just laughed throughout it all.

"Okay thanks for that." I said sarcastically.

"No problem." She said and I rolled my eyes.

I walked outside and out the groceries in the trunk. I saw a young mother about 28 with her kids. She had a young newborn that was crying and another little girl that was about 2-3 years old. I was about to close my trunk when I noticed something. The little girl was super hyper which is normal, but she was running around. What was strange about that? I knew what it was because it nearly gave me a heart attack.

"Laura!" The young mothered screamed at who I believed was her daughter.

I quickly ran and grabbed the little girl. A car had been going to fast in this parking lot and didn't even stop to see the little girl or see if she's okay. It's almost as if it was intentional. The car was going to kill this little girl.

"Oh my gosh Laura! Thank you, thank you so much miss." Her mother said grabbing her daughter and thanking me as she had tears in her eyes.

"It was no problem honestly. Glad I caught her in time." I said still uneasy about the whole situation. I was shaking and I didn't even notice.

"You saved my daughter's life, how can I repay you!" She said tears coming out of her eyes.

It hadn't occurred to me that I did save her life. "It's fine honestly. I'm just glad she's okay. Have a good day ma'am" I said getting back into my car.

I was probably having an anxiety attack. I couldn't believe I just did that and experienced that. Who would do such a thing. It was so scary and I couldn't shake the thought that it was my fault. Or was it really my fault?

Unknown: Look how easily I could have taken that little girl's life. I'm coming after you next. I can see that you're not in a good place right now. I will break you.. slowly and literally.

Then it occurred to me, Selena? Rudy? Noo, they couldn't possibly come up with something so devious, so heartless. If it wasn't them then who could it be. This was all too much. I slammed the brakes at the red light seeing that I zoned out and almost ran a red light myself.

Unknown: If it was me I'd pay attention to the road. It can't be that easy to break you..(;

From there I just lost it. I just wanted to get home asap. Who the hell is taunting me again. I'm so done with it. Just leave me alone.
