• Chapter 37 Dehydrated •

Justin's POV

I got to the hospital and I ran to Mia's room. The nurse said she was okay and that she was just dehydrated. Well there was more to it but she was fine and that's all I cared about.

"Mia thank god you're okay." I said hugging her. "What'd he do?" I asked her.

"Are you really asking me right now?" She said laughing. "I'm so happy to see you.."

I was honestly happy she wasn't upset or anything. She was already smiling. She's so pure and that's what makes me so mad is that the world has been so dirty to her for no reason.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"It's alright." She said holding my hand.

"No like I'm sorry, I broke my promise. I told you I'd protect you and I failed you." I said looking down.

"You didn't know and neither did I, all that matters is that I'm okay, that you're okay." She said lifting my chin. My heart felt all warm and I felt relieved for once in what felt like months. I smiled at her just proud of her I guess.

We were then suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. We weren't expecting anyone, so as the door opened my heart stopped. I didn't think it'd be okay for Lily and Kelsey to be here right now. At least Kelsey.

"What is she doing here?" Mia asked.

"Really Mia.. Now I'm just a she.." Kelsey said.

"You left me because I didn't tell you about my past with my father, and when I got kidnapped you came looking for me am I right?" Mia said harshly.

"You did what?" Lily said stepping back.

"I felt like you didn't trust me.. I'm sorry." Kelsey said.

"Sorry doesn't fix everything honestly and I'm still mad at you, but thank you for looking for me I guess, at least you care.." Mia said holding her arms out for Kelsey and Lily. Then Kelsey broke down. You could tell she really was sorry, but she was going to have to gain mine and Mia's respect back. Mainly hers.

"I'm glad you're okay." Lily said. Mia smiled and they chatted for a moment. I could tell Lily was still about confused on what happened but she let it slide. She asked me to tell her later so I texted her what happened before they left. Soon enough, they left leaving Mia and I together.

"Can we leave?" Mia asked after a few hours. I could tell she was just done being here. She kept trying to take out the needles in her arm.
I nodded and went to go ask for the release papers. I quickly got the papers and then waited with her for my driver to get us outside.

All of the sudden a bunch of paparazzi's swarmed us with questions. I pushed them away knowing what they were going to say. I mean Mia was gonna about 2-3 weeks. Media's going to wanna get all over this.

"Mia did you guys break up?"

"Did Justin beat you?"

"Where have you been?"

"What happened Justin?"

Then my driver came and I put her inside first and then I went around getting in. I looked at the paparazzi's to let them know I wasn't kidding so get out the way or I'll make them.

"How long was I gone?" Mia asked.

"You don't know?" I asked her.

She nodded and I said,"Almost 3 weeks."

I saw her face dropped, but then she smiled and said," I don't remember most of it anyways. I was always drugged up or too dehydrated so I would pass out." She immediately wanted to take it back as she say my reaction.

I held her hand as we headed back to my place. I'm glad she doesn't remember, but would this affect her? I honestly hoped not. I just wanted to do something for Mia. Something to make her forget everything. I didn't know what exactly she needed but I decided to just do what I felt that she needed. A vacation. Somewhere away from this place.
