• Chapter 54 The Swap •

~ A week later ~
Justin's POV

Where is she? Who is she with? What? Who? Where? I was absolutely confused and terrified. Where did Mia go? What do these notes mean? When did any of this happen? How long has this been happening?!?
Shit.... Why won't you pick up Mia! I grabbed my car keys and headed out to go look for her.

~ Earlier that evening ~

Mia's POV

Unknown: Meet me in 10 (;

I told Justin that I was gonna go get some Starbucks and other snacks so we could have a movie night. I did lie but it was for a good reason. I didn't want anything happening to Justin. The messages just kept getting worse and it really was breaking me not knowing who was doing this. Who had been in my house. Who wanted to kill the little girl? Who does that? I couldn't shake this weird feeling though. It wasn't weird but it more like anxiety. I had a feeling I wasn't coming back home though. It wasn't like the time with my father. It was something quite strange and different. Tonight was different. Who is this person sending me threats. Rudy? Or Selena?
Of course these are my "consequences" and he had nothing to with this. I really hoped he didn't have anything to do with this. In this moment I just wished my life was normal. Besides Justin, I've always had something going wrong in my life and I just wanted to be extremely happy. I had to get rid of this person first though.

I waited at the location for a little bit. I was getting this strange feeling I was gonna die right here. Someone would shoot me or something would happen. I seemed to have been waiting too long and Justin kept calling. He was texting me so much now and I knew he was worried. It had been about an hour and a half. It doesn't take that long to get Starbucks and snacks. Then someone jumped in my car in all black waking me up from my thoughts.

"Drive!" She said and I knew who it was.

"It was you!" I said to Selena while she pulled her hood down.

"No shit bitch, keep driving. You know where to go." She said and then I slammed the brakes causing her to hit her head on the dashboard.

"I'm not afraid of you bitch." I said now feeling confident that she wouldn't hurt Justin.

"Ugh! Ugly stupid bitch! Don't tempt me because I would hurt Justin to get him back! If I can't have him then no one can!" She said pulling out a gun and I had no choice but to drive. I was now picking up the speed. I knew what she wanted and she's going down with me. I sped up and she didn't mind at all.

"Why?" I asked her while the blood in my veins started to boil.

"What the hell do you mean why? I fucking hate you that's why." She said keeping the gun aimed at my head.

"The little girl, why would you kill her?!" I asked getting angrier.

"I didn't kill her. I knew you would save her. I just had to make it realistic for you. Until I could break you." She said laughing.

"You aren't gonna win this.." I said angrier by the second.

"Honey I already did, because you're mine now bitch!" She said grabbing the wheel causing it to turn on the other road. I couldn't see as well considering it was dark but a car was definitely coming our way. Holy shit, I'm gonna die...

We swerved and then I saw a car coming towards our way and for some reason it made Selena too happy. But why? I looked at her crazed until I finally turned to see her plan this whole time.

"Noooo!" I screamed and then everything was in slow motion. I heard a beeping noise and I couldn't tell what was going on.

I was unconscious for a while, Selena was bleeding from her arm and cheek. I didn't even care to check myself. My head was pounding but I quickly went to the driver's side of the other car and looked at my whole life laying there lifeless.

"Justin! Wake up!" I said as loud as I could. I was crying no doubt. I knew it. I stumble back a little bit considering I was extremely dizzy. He was bleeding from his head horribly. He had bruises and cuts. His head wouldn't stop bleeding though.. I ripped my shirt which took forever to rip. I tied it around his head putting a lot of pressure. Then I kept my hand there putting more pressure trying to get his head to stop bleeding.

"Please Justin.." I said cupping his face with my hand. He wouldn't wake up and I was getting really dizzy. I suddenly felt nothing, nothing in the world. I blacked out as I heard the sounds of the ambulance. Last thing that I saw was Selena.. The bitch couldn't not get away with this. I felt myself black out but somehow I managed to get up and grab Selena making sure she wasn't going anywhere. Then I really blacked out. For good this time. Who knew who was gonna wake up and who wasn't. Was this the end? It wasn't suppose to be Justin. It was suppose to be me..
