The battle was won! And you were beyond happy at the fact that everyone had lived. You yourself had made it out and you had the cuts on your back to symbolize your victory.
You gave a relived sigh with a smile
"You fought well y/n," you looked up to see Thorin giving you an admiring stare.
You gave a curt nod," thank you Thorin. You fought bravely yourself. Azog will no longer torment you," you walked closer to him with a smile. His blood splattered face chuckled back.
"At long last," he said gently while looking deeply into your eyes. You caught yourself doing the same and cleared your throat. Your face became flushed of s crimson color.
"What do we do now my king?" You felt funny saying his royal title. Something briefly passed over his face. Before he his is emotions you recognized it as hurt. Maybe he didn't like the title you were giving him?
"We rebuild. The dwarves are one of the best architects in all of Middle-Earth. Erebor shall be rebuilt in no time at all," he gave small smile.
This dwarf was something else. Over the course of this long journey, you had fallen for him. There had been some nights where you stayed up and watch the stars together in silence. Your dreams were plagued with him. You loved him. You tried to tell him how you felt, but the words never made it passed your lips. You needed him like you needed the very air to breath. You were desperately in love with him. It made your heart ache when you thought he might not feel the same for you.
You looked out towards Laketown," and what about them?" You nodded your head in that direction," they have lost everything because of us." The lake men needed something to rebuild and desperately.
Thorin sighed," I will give them enough gold so they can get going on their own," he agreed, "but I will not give the woodland sprite the gems of Lasgalen,"
"What? Why? That's unfair and greedy,"
"What help did the elves offer us?"
"In case you didn't notice, the elves helped save our asses today. If they weren't here, we wouldn't be," Thorin grew silent at your words. He looked at you intently and sighed.
"I will consider it," he didn't need to say anymore than that.

You had gotten the whole get-up. You had the long beautiful dress, fancy shoes, and hair put up into an intricate bun. You felt pretty. Although, this wasn't a life you thought you could get used to. A woman needed to lie in the dirt every once in a while.
Erebor had been rebuilt in record timing, just as Thorin promised. Now, there were festivities and parties going on. Today was a very special one indeed. Thorin was getting put in the throne again. Mall of Erebor would come to watch.
"It's a big day today," you said softly as you opened your door and walked the long halls to where the ceremony was being held.
