Amber slowly opened her eyes and arose from the bed where she once again spent the night. She took a deep breath and got the scent of crispy
bacon and eggs being cooked downstairs she happily made her way
downstairs to the heavenly scent where she saw Ryan working like a chef
on her breakfast. Ryan looked at the stairs as he heard a noise and saw
Amber. "Ah! Perfect timing sit down at the table. A perfect breakfast,
for a perfect girl" said Ryan sweetly. Amber blushed but tried to hide
it. She sat down at the breakfast table with a giant smile on her face
and honestly said "I'm not perfect". Ryan looked at her seriously then
smiled "You are to me" he brought her eggs, bacon, sausage and beans on
the beautiful China plate along with a glass of orange juice. Ryan
brought his own to the table, put salt on it and got started. "You don't
need to put all that salt on there. You're gonna end up having a
heart-attack!" Said Amber worryingly. "Don't be so negative. I'll be
fine. So, how's your breakfast?" Asked Ryan. Struggling to start
conversation over breakfast. "It's good... So how's things going?"
Asked Amber small talking. She didn't know what else to do. It was a
long and comforting night for Amber. There was a sudden bang on the
door. "You stay here Amber, I'll get it" Ryan quickly kissed her cheek
and rushed to the door. Who could it be this early in the morning? He
opened the door "Oh, hello Mr Shapiro. What can I do for you?" Said Ryan
politely. Ronaldo ignored this politeness "I want to see my
daughter." He demanded. "She's busy right now. Sorry" Ryan kept his
cool. How did this rude guy give the world such an amazing girl?. Amber
was listening from the kitchen and pushed her chair noisily back and
marched to the front door. "What do you want, Ronaldo? I've told you
before I want nothing to do with you." She said stubbornly. "Please, I
have money". "Wow, that shows how bad of a father you really are. You
just tried to bribe your daughter into talking to you. I've told you I
want nothing to do with you. Accept that and move on" and with that
Amber marched back over to her almost finished breakfast and took a sip
of orange juice. Ryan still shocked from what just happened "close your
mouth, you'll catch flies" Ronaldo said sadly and then walked away. Ryan
closed the door and rushed over to Amber. "What just happened?" Ryan
said, stumped. "That was me telling my father straight." She said. Still
sipping her orange juice. "New development I suppose" said Ryan with a
laugh. "Yeah haha" Amber laughed back. "Well, we need to start training.
Let's go"
