Meanwhile back down on earth the newly recorded message was making its way to planet earth. Amber heard the sound and rushed outside to see what it
was. "Ryan, there's another little machine! Come here!" Yelled Amber
excitedly yet nervously at the same time. It made her feel sick. In a
strangely good way. Ryan raced over to Amber and he looked at the little
machine and pressed the red button. "Hello, children. Do not panic. We
come in peace. We know you are here and we will collect you but you MUST
NOT, I repeat NOT touch the bomb! It's deadly. It is on a boat in the
Pacific Ocean. If you simply place your little pinkie on it earth will
destroy straight away! The bomb is fragile, you must not touch it.
Understood?" There was a moment of silence "good. Farewell human
children an we will be at your rescue in 17 days. Good luck"
There was another moment of silence whilst the children waited for the self
destruct voice come out of the tiny machine. Having it not explode into
tiny little pieces they thought that they would need it later on so they
left it be and went back home. "You haven't seen or touched a bomb have
you when you have been moving rubble?" Amber said anxiously.
"Amber, I've not been out in the Pacific Ocean picking up rubble so how could I have possibly touched it?" Said Ryan cockily. He saw ambers face. She was worried. "Amber don't worry. No one has touched it. We will be okay. You will see" as he said that he kissed her cheek sweetly. "Okay well
I'm going to the forest to get more wood for the fire. We seem to be
running out. Be back soon, okay?" He said more kindly. "Okay" said Amber
with a smile. She walked into the kitchen and decided to make a special
meal for Ryan because he was being so sweet and nice and was working so
hard. "I'm glad I'm stuck with him on earth."
