'Bang!'

Amber and Ryan woke to a large noise in the sky. They rushed to the

window and saw space ships flying down. Ryan and Amber stared at each

other. "It's time" they both said. They rushed down to the cellar where

Leanne, Amy, Ronaldo and Penelope had gone for there equipment. Ryan and

Amber rushed down and got some guns, food and shields there Martian

allies had given them. They were ready for the fight to death. "Gosh

this will be like the hunger games only with aliens instead of other

kids" said Amber thoughtfully but Ryan interrupted "Sssh! There landing

now. Stay hidden and quiet. I'll tell you when to fire okay?" Ryan whispered and everyone nodded at him. He mouthed the words 'okay' and got ready to fire like the rest of them. "Search everywhere until there all dead. We've found out a military man is here as well. There are 6

humans. Find them and kill them all. Be careful though. They have all

been training so they will put up a good fight. We will beat them

though." As that speech was spoken Ryan had stood on Amy's foot by

accident and she screamed in pain. The aliens knew where they were now

and started to open fire. There guns made huge holes in the buildings.

Just like the aliens the humans open fired but ducked for cover suddenly

they heard a scream. Amber looked back to see Leanne lying on the

floor, dead. She knelt down to try and be with her but Ryan pulled her

away "she's gone Amber! Move before you get hit too!" He pulled her

towards him protectively making her miss the laser beam by an inch. Ryan

was furious. His girl was crying in his arms because her mother had

died and she was terrified from the near death. He got out a grenade and

threw it at them. Nothing happened. "Your puny weapons are nothing

compared to us. They do us no harm" no one had noticed that in this time

Amy had rushed upstairs to her secret stash of chocolate, orange juice

and fully loaded water guns and rushed downstairs and into sight of the

aliens. Ryan tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. She started

shooting the water at the aliens and they all screamed in pain. "What is

this! It burns! No! It's killing me! Shoot me! Just get the pain over

and done with!" All the Martians started shooting each other which was

surprisingly less painful for them. After only 9 squirts from the tiny

gun the aliens where dead. Amber was standing there looking at the mess.

Green goo covering her white dress with daisy marks on and her once

white sandals. Ryan finally released his girlfriend who raced over to

Amy making sure she wasn't hurt. Amy smiled heroically. "Where's mom?"

She said maturely. "Listen, your still young. Don't grow up so quickly.

Mums just gone on a holiday. We can visit her sometime." Amber softly

said to her younger sister. How could she tell her that her mother was

dead? "She's dead... Isn't she..." Amy said her words so cautiously and

knowingly that Amber couldn't lie to her. Amy watched Ambers head bow

down in shame "yes, she is. She was blasted by the aliens right through

her stomach. There was nothing I could do to save her. I'm sorry for

lying to you. I didn't want to hurt you" Amber looked up and realised

Amy wasn't standing in front of her anymore "Amy?" In the distance Amy

ran over to Amber and yelled angrily "what do you want? I don't get

hurt, not anymore anyway. I'd be training in secret like you guys and

studying the Martians. I figured out water burnt them whilst studying

the Martians. I let them have a drink of water for a break and then

they spilt it on a tentacle. Why do you think one of them is gone? I had

to saw it off to take away his pain. "It was excruciating!" Said

Jeremy. Showing his sawed of tentacle. The other Martian laughed

hysterically. "He was crying like a human baby haha!" Amy got her summer

scarf from around her neck and tied it around her forehead. She looked

very cute yet very angry. She looked into the sky "there gone, for now".

They would live in peace for now. The future is now...
