Really sorry this took forever, I had MAJOR block :0/

hopefully its over.

The hallway felt different.

It felt like someone, like me, has went down it. But it wasn’t me! I pressed my hand against my temple, I was starting to get headache even from the ride here from the taxi driver with the blaring Indian music. I chewed on my lip as I slowly walked down the aged hallway; I kept getting vibes of electricity or just something dark and dangerous. I was even getting goose bumps. I never got goose bumps, I mean, last time I ever did it was because I heard Dr. Nolind yell for me when I ate his Cornish hen.

The closer I got to the door, the worse the feeling hit my chest. Grabbing the doorknob and slowly twisting it, pushing in. The stench of death hit me, setting me on alarm. Death was literally in my house but where? Why? I let go of the door, opening slowly to figure in a black trench coat standing with a solid posture; their back facing me. My eyes flickered down the sound of leather tightening, the hairs on the back of my standing from the tingling sensation of electricity in the air. My eyes fell to the smell of blood, seeing the white lab coat being dyed by it. A tiny breath got caught in my throat as my body stiffened yet I could feel my heart sink from the thought of my so called protector was gone for good. My eyes flew back up on the figure, seeing the black hood turn to me.

I was in the presence of the one…the one who chased me out of my home.

My eyes flew open from a warm touch, gasping and jolting away. Seeing Aiden jerked his hand away from me, worry sunk deeper in his eyes as he gulped. Both of us panting, Aiden made the first move. Slowly coming back towards me, sitting by my legs and touched my hand.

“You okay?”

I gulped more air down, looking around the small room. My head fell back on the bed, staring at the ceiling, “I…yes.” My eye lids slowly fell.

“Well, I feel a little better your awake now.”

My eyes slowly opened back on him, seeing him fiddle with something in his hands. “How long have I been out?”

He raised a lazy brow, giving off some kind of blunt look. “Three days.” He blinked, seeing his teal blue eyes were brighter than usual. Within a minute, he sadly looked back to his lap and cleared his throat. “I’m not staying long, someone’s coming to talk to you.” He shuddered, glancing toward the door then back at me.

“Where am I?”

He blinked, feeling like he was studying me. “Gallion City.”

I turned my head to the side, narrowing my eyes. “Never heard of it.” I started to prop myself up but winced from the pain, gasping from it loudly. Out the corner of my eye, Aiden flinched near me I flashed him a look. “I’m fine.”

Something flashed in Aiden’s eyes as he sank back into his calm posture, chewing on his lip, he closed his eyes and turned his head away. “You’re lucky…”
