Day Three

"Fuck!" Salem exclaimed looking at the disgusting puddle of spit up on her shirt and on Jalen. Just as she had started to clean herself up her phone rang.

"Salem, I lost Jordan."

Charlie's words hung heavy in the air.

"Where are you?"

"I was in the Macy's in the mall and she ran off."

Just then Jalen started to cry. Salem grunted and pulled off her puke soaked shirt and held Jalen.

"Babe, talk to one of the mall people, have them call her over the speakerphone." Salem rocked Jalen attempting to calm him down.

Soon the house phone rang as a number Salem recognized as Sahia's.

"Hey sis."

"Hey,how are the kids?"

"Absolutely perfect. Little angels."

"It's a hot mess isn't it?"

"Yes, I'm at wits end Jalen's crying,Jordan is running around Macy's and Charlie has probably cussed out everyone in the building."

"Check Jalen's diaper and tell Charlie to go over to the kid pen."

Salem text Charlie and started to change Jalen's diaper.

"I don't know how you and Nate do it."

"We just got used to it, and aren't you the one that wants kids?"

"We're thinking about it."

"Just be prepared for long nights and no sex."

"You had me at no sex." Salem then received a text from Charlie saying she found Jordan. "Charlie found Jordan."

"Good, now put Jalen down and take a nap."

"Talk to you later?"

"No, I'm just going to let you suffer for two more days."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Try me." Sahia chuckled. "Nate just woke up talk to you later."

Sahia hung up and Salem carried Jalen to his crib.They fell asleep in the same room and when Charlie got home she took a picture of the sweet sight.
