He looked up and smiled. "Kneeling?" The players and cheer dancers laughed while the other students huddled up to see what's happening.
"I know this is so fast, but even though the time we spent together was less, I felt that. .. I love you." He went closer to her, cupping her innocent looking face.
"Jack W-what is this??"
He looked directly to Joan's eyes and said, "Will you be my girl?" He looked so serious.
She look at him, she was shocked. Will she say yes? But... it was so fast. It's just a crush after all. Maybe it's time for her to love, so she said, "Y-yes." She smiled at him.
Then he laughed so hard, same as the other football players and cheer dancers.
"What?" She asked. She's so confused. Why was he laughing?
"It's just a joke! Haha!" Then Carla went near and kissed Jack in front of her. The whole crowd laughed so hard.
And then Carla said with an evil twinkle in her eyes, "Sorry, he's mine."
Joan doesn't know what to do, she was fooled. Tears came rolling to her face but they never stopped laughing.
Jack yelled at his team mates, "WE HAD A DEAL! WHERE'S MY FIVE DOLLAR BILL NOW??! HAHA"
