Joan stood up and smiled a bit. "This raises the boiling point of solutions over that of a pure solvent." She answered confidently, it was easy.
"Correct!" Mr. Shelton applauded.
Then other students came gossiping again.
As they went outside Mr. Shelton's room, Mr. Shelton called the blond. "You" He pointed her. "Stay"
The blonds name was Carla Harper and now facing the hot seat. Mr. Shelton who is on his thirties sat on his table in front of Carla.
"Why are you not listening?" The teacher asked.
"I'm sorry sir." She replied while fidgeting.
"Miss Harper I know you're one of the biggest stake holders of our school but you must still give respect to us teachers. Listening was an enough payment for our work." Mr. Shelton said. "Your grades in my class was low Ms. Harper, you must work harder."
"Yes sir, I will." She looked up and saw Mr. Shelton staring at her legs. Carla stood up quickly and raced for her bag near the backseat then went outside the door.
"Carla" Mr. Shelton called her, she stopped. "Meet me this afternoon and we'll discuss few more things." Carla then went out but she's afraid to what may happen.
