Camp was over and it was the first day of school. I woke up feeling even more shitty than I usually do. My muscles were aching from all the camp activity and I was tired from the lack of sleep. With half open eyes I dragged myself to the toilet and took a cold shower to wake myself to completely. Since it was the first day I wanted to look nice for school I had laid out my outfit for the day the night before. Black skinny jeans with a purple off shoulder crop top and my favorite boots to complete the look. I dabbed on some eyeliner and gloss and gave my hair a final brush letting it hang lose on my shoulders and I was ready to go.

Reaching school I rushed to my friends who were all talking about what they did over the break and complaining about their undone assignments. Crap my assignments were practically untouched due to the camp and all I hadn't bothered with the assignments. The first period bell rang indicating it's time for maths and time for me to face the music. Lessons were boring and teachers were extra annoyed as most of us had incomplete assignments. Finally lunch came and boy was I glad. It's always hard to get into lesson mode on the first day of school.

I made my way over to our usual table with Stacey and Liz. Conner Derek and Carrie were already there waiting for us. One good thing about first day of school is lunch's always good. The cafeteria ladies have had a break so their spirits are up which leads to us having good food hehe. I had a hamburger and side of close and yummy fries in front of me waiting to be savored. I was about to dig into my burger when someone called out my name. My heart skipped a beat hearing that voice which made my name sound beautiful and not plain like it is. I turned my head coming face to face with gorgeous grey blue eyes that haunt my dreams each day. Henry stood there in all his glory looking at me and smiling awaiting my response to his greeting. "Heyy how was your break?" I said with a cheery smile trying to hide the fact that my heart was beating twice as fast as it normally does and my voice was on the verge of shaking but at least I could stop myself from stammering like a fool. "It was good how was yours? Anything exciting took place?" I proceeded on to tell him about the camp the whole time smiling widely. My mouth just wouldn't stop doing the smiling action. Oh wells at least I wasn't drooling, now that would have been embarrassing.

I didn't have any meetings to attend to regarding orientation so I was free to leave school at the normal time. As per tradition we all headed to Macey's cafe near our school. Every first day after break my friends and I would head there after school and have lunch followed by the most amazing ice cream sundaes you've ever had. The ice cream sundaes are literally to die for they melt in your mouth and the taste overcomes and fills your entire soul and body making you feel complete. Okay sorry for the exaggerated description but you get what I mean the sundaes are amazing.

"If I had to choose one food to eat for the rest of my life I'd take these sundaes!" Casey exclaimed in between a mouthful of her sundae. We all laughed at Cas seeing how she has this dreamt expression on her face like the sundae was her first love and she had gotten some icecream on her nose. Afternoon's at Macey's are always my favorite they're calm, relaxed and fun even if nothing eventful happens and all we do is eat and chat about everything and anything. "Stacey" a voice interrupted our conversation, a familiar yet unexpected husky voice.
