"Ni hao food delivery" Tyler said in a funny Chinese accent causing me to burst out laughing.
He eyed my outfit for a few moments and raised an eyebrow.
"What?" I said self consciously.
"I didn't we were having a sleepover." He smirked.
"Ha ha Tyler aren't you a comedian" I said rolling my eyes.
"I couldn't be bothered to dress up seeing as I'll be sleeping soon." I defended myself.
"You look cute in pjs." He said .and turned to take the food out of the bags.
I just stared at his back. This guy was weird one moment he was making fun of me next complimenting me. I could never tell when he was being serious.
We ate our meal on the kitchen table and talked about stuff, basically getting to know each other better. I liked this Tyler so much more than the Tyler he portrayed himself to be at school. One day I would ask him why he portrays himself as jerk at school but not today. It wasn't appropriate just yet. Suddenly Tyler asked a weird question.
"What's the deal with you and that Bournemouth?" He asked.
I stared at him blankly not sure what he wanted to know. "We're friends. Why?" I questioned.
"Just friends? Really?" He said skeptically.
"Yeaaah why?"
"Nope no reason if you say you're friends then you must be." He said focusing on his food.
"C'mon you can tell me. What's this about?" I pestered. I was curious and I wasn't gonna let it go so easily.
"Really nothing."
"It can't be nothing. If it was nothing you wouldn't have asked about Henry out of the blue." I stated logically.
"Just drop it. It's nothing that important." Said Tyler shoving Kung pao chicken in his mouth hoping I won't question him any further.
"Aha! You admitted it is something. Maybe not something important but definitely something. So what's the something? C'mon tell me I won't stop pestering till you do and I can get pretty irritating." I said with a big grin.
Tyler shot me an irritated look and said, "glad to know you're aware that you're irritating."
I wasn't offended I just laughed. "Yup I know but this isn't me being irritating yet. So you better tell me what's up."
"Urgh pesky much?" Said Tyler putting down his fork.
"You know you'll have to tell me why put up the fight?" I said smiling smugly.
"You're annoying." He said with a huff.
I just smiled even more smugly. It was fun getting Tyler riled up.
"It's nothing I was just curious okay because people rumor you guys had something going on and then there are also the rumors that you don't date guys so I was curious okay. Shoot me for my curiosity." He said exasperated.
"They do say curiosity kills the cat." I said in an annoying voice earning a glare from Tyler.
Awww he looked so cute when he was all irritated and glaring.
"I didn't know you listen to gossip Tyler. That's not a very manly thing you know I said" giving him an innocent smile.
"Seriously Stacey?!" He said raising an eyebrow.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"You're annoying." He huffed.
"You've already said that once pick a new word Tyler dig into your vocabulary bank." I said.
