"I mean I've been one of my families best detectives, and I really cannot crack this crime. I mean, practically, our only suspect, is not guilty." Olivia sat with head resting on her hand. I told them what happened at lunch and they all couldn't believe it. It wasn't just a funny ( well to that person) trick, it was real.

"Honey, you wanna come down for dinner?" My mom peered through my doorway.
"What are we eating?" I asked not even looking back at her.
"I made goat cheese pasta. You love that!" She gleamed as I continued to ignore her.
"Mom, that's carbs. I hate carbs. Ok? I'll just get a yogurt later." I heard a soft sigh then she walked out then she closed my door.

That night I had been texting Olivia, Sofia, and Mae all in a group chat.

O: check your Instagram. Could any of your followers be like...psychos? Idk. Like want to hurt you
T: idk. I'm pretty sure my followers are clean. Next?
S: what if you just tell your parents?
T: uh. No! I don't what them to get ideas.  Thinking I'm like the class sl*t. It's fine. They don't need to know. Now I'm really tired. Gnight.
O: night
S: good night
M: bye

I felt embarrassed to walk by Ellie or even look at any of her friends. I had already been a thing for them to talk about. But now I would be the b*tch to laugh about.

"Ok. So really great job today guys! I could see all of our jumps are getting a lot better! Tomorrow or maybe starting next week we can do some baskets? All right! Clean up!" Coach Giblsy shooed us to the locker rooms. We all slowly shuffled to our lockers that were racked against the wall.
Mae's locker was joined in right beside mine. She threw in some sweaty clothes and socks as she undressed.

"I think I'm just going to hit the showers now. I don't want to have to drive home this stinky." She giggled then followed most of the other girls to the showers.

I undressed then reached for some shorts and an old t shirt when I noticed a right flash of red on my locker.

Was it my time of the month?

I reached in and noticed that it was paper. A dark red card stock paper in the shape of a heart. I peeled it open.
How cute! A love note! But it was October??

I see you finally found my note. I knew you would fall for it. But I've got more news. Pretty soon someone's heart will be broken. Who's you may ask? Maybe the B standing next to you.

I crippled up the note then stretched it back out and reread  it. Who wrote this? Was I been watched? I read the last part.
Maybe the B standing next to you.

I looked to my left then my right.

A blonde girls locker was about two down from mine. No one was in between us. She was right next to me.

Ellie.
