"I get it. And I'm really sorry or whatever. But could we please just stop talking about.... Her." She said quietly as we walked in. I checked the big white board to see if we had any homework, in this class we never did wait?
TEST TOMORROW 10/15
Was printed in the teacher's familiar choppy handwriting.
"Omg, Mae. Since when has that been up there?" I grasped her arm.
"Oh jeez, I don't know. I think today!"
She responded looking into my eyes.

Seriously, I had just brought my grade back up to a steady C so I wouldn't be failing, but now! I had no idea what this test was even on and it's not like I even payed attention in class. God. I was going to fail this test then fail Chemistry. I sat at my lavender IKEA desk and started to wine. Then slowly hot tears streamed down my face and onto my English homework. This was the worst day.

Later that night, I finally got to finish most of my homework. I called Olivia. I knew she would probably have already made a study guide or flash cards on Quizlet or whatever. I would be able to get through this.
T: hey. So did you hear about the test tomorrow in Chemistry?
O: yea. I mean it's been up there for like 2 weeks.
T: what?! Really? I hadn't even seen it.
O: (she let out a huge sigh) ok it's called Chemistry 004
T: what is?
O: my study guide on Quizlet, now go study,girl!
T: oh oh yeah! Ok thanks luv ya.
O: luv ya too.
Sure enough she had a long 50 question set of flash cards. I spent the rest of the night studying.

"Hey. So you ready." Asked Mae as we were walking to cheer practice.
"Hmm. For what?" I looked over and smiled. Last night felt so great to study.
"Umm. Your speech. Captain! Did you forget?" She stopped me and looked me in the eyes. "You didn't Taylor! Your didn't forget?"
