I decided not to tell any of my friends because I didn't know how they would react. The game had changed. It wasn't a joke, by whoever, it was a serious game. Someone was watching my every move.

•••

I scrubbed my naked body with the ruff loofah. The hot water was pouring  down my shoulders. My curtain was closed and I was sure no one could see me. Naked into the shower.

I pumped out some conditioner from the bottle then lathered it in my hair. I started to hum the new cheer we learned today at practice.

"Pan-thers are here to stay
Pan-thers have found their prey."

I soaked off my hair and continued to sing. I was getting louder and more into it. I was swaying in the shower and singing loud when suddenly my loofah fell of my stand in the shower. I stopped singer and reached down to pick it up, careful not to fall like girls always seem to in the shower.

But there was singing. Outside my bathroom door.  Someone didn't stop.

"Pan-thers are here to stay
Pan-thers have found their prey
Pan-thers will hunt you down
'Cause, we, the Panthers own this town."

I let out a small scream and my heart raced. Oh my god. Someone was out there. Close by. Probably out my window, by my door, in my room, standing outside the curtain. Listening.

My heart raced a thousand miles and I slowly turned off the shower. And sat down in the remaining water. I curled my arms around my legs and shook there in the corner. Wet and afraid.

I couldn't stay here forever and my phone was on my bed in the other room. I had to either confront the person and get out.

I grabbed the towel hanging by the railing and wrapped it around my body. Tears streamed down my face.
This was a nightmare.

I grabbed the steamy knob and turned it slowly. Then I walked he door open.

Nothing. No one.

I slowly walked around my room. Check under my bed and quickly opens my closets. There was no one here. I sat down and check my phone.

I opened iMessage and went to my group chat with Olivia an all those guys. I had to tell at least someone.

T:  guys, someone was in my...

I quickly opened the alert and was sent to the new chat.
The number was unfamiliar.

Below was a picture followed by a short paragraph.

The picture was me. Walking out of the showers. My confused face and wet hair drained on my back. It was a candid. I was about to look through my closets. It was taken almost minutes ago. I recognized the view. It was outside my window.

Below was the text

You look nice tonight. I hope you know that I'm always watching you. You'll never be safe. I know your every move. And if you tell....
You won't have a broken heart like your friend, you'll have a broken face.
