Renjo walked out of the Monstrosity, and began to run to the Aimox. He looked to the left and saw a few hundred people heading to different ships preparing to exit the station and defend it, and making last minute attachments to the ships for slight improvements in firepower and defense systems, trying desperately to improve their rate of survival. Renjo turned his head forwards, and focused on his own ship, and to Renjo's surprise, it was okay. No damage or any marks of struggle to open doors. He walked over to it, and entered.
Opening a door, Renjo entered the bridge only to find the window fully repaired, and a few plasma guns on the floor. He quickly picked them up, and placed them in a container near the back wall of the room. Knock Knock. There was a knock on the open door, and Renjo turned to find Commander Kala Salakar there, leaning against the frame very feminine like, and a face of worry sitting upon her.
"Kala, what are you doing here?"
"I don't want you to go alone, so I'm going with you." She said softly.
"You need to be on Sonoran's ship. Helping them."
"I know, but... you need someone to help communicate. You can't fight and talk at the same time. Not even a computer can do something like that. Its physically impossible."
Renjo turned and faced the window. "Yeah, you're right." he turned back to face her. "Thank you. The comms is on the lower deck, on the right side."
She smiled slightly and proceeded quickly to the comms desk. "Ready to go." She said, while sitting down, and putting on a headset over the temples of her head.
Renjo walked to the Captain's chair, and sat in it. A holographic gauntlet came over his right arm, and a screen requesting captain control came up. With a push of the 'Yes' button, a joystick came up underneath my right hand, and a throttle controller underneath the other.
"Okay, this is it. Computer, begin launch procedures." Renjo stated.
'Acknowledged Renjo. Initiating launch!'
The ship bounced up with grace, and used some mini jets under the wings and belly to lift up the ship vertically, increasing the distance between us and the floor.
'Distance of 30 meters reached. Retracting landing gear.'
"Okay, let's take this thing out." Kala said, with a little more volume and enthusiasm.
Renjo pushed the throttle forwards, and the ship followed suit, passing other docks and the Monstrosity, which was launching off the dock as well. Glowing a dark red, the engines warmed up, turning into a dark violet color, then a light blue shining vividly.
The oxygen fields came closer, and we exited the station, maneuvering around the outside ring and moving outwards.
Pushing the throttle farther away, the ship soon came to 100% of its maximum speed.
To the right of the station, a ship warped in, soon followed by a fleet of ships.
"Commander Salakar! There is a fleet of ships approahing about 1 Kilometer out from the station. We're pretty sure it's the Federation." This sudden communication from Colonel Opus startled Kala. "We need you to get into the center of the fleet and overtake the mothership."
Kala pressed a button on the comms panel to send her reply. "What? That's insane! Directly to the mother-ship?"
"Yes, Salakar. The General has made a plan, and you're the main key."
"Aye, Colonel. Ferron! Head directly to the mother-ship. General's orders."
Renjo looked at her as if she's gone mad, then looked back to the window. "If you say so. Hold on." he jolted the joystick to the left and down, and the ship rotated and pulled up, now facing the station. After the ship did its maneuver, Renjo pushed a side button on the throttle controller and the ship boosted over max for a short time.
