Derek's POV
After Liv ran upstairs, I stared at Allison in disbelief. I walked to the kitchen without saying a word, but it wasn't long when Allison was following me.
"Derek" she said, I ignored her.
"DEREK!" She said again and I turned to her,
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" I asked Allison."Ali, we had a deal!" I said,
"I know-" Allison said, but I cut her off.
"Well, if you knew then why did you tell Liv?" I asked, Allison was silent for a few moments and then she finally spoke.
"I didn't want to feel like Liv was being left out because I felt she's been feeling that the SECOND she came to LA!" Ali said.
"Allison, that is totally-" I said, but I stopped myself,
"True" I continued, I sat down at the kitchen table."Ever since we came to LA, I went straight to rehearsal and Liv stayed, I fell asleep in the middle of dinner and Liv was awake, Liv offered to go to rehearsals the next day, I didn't." I said, I felt tears coming down my cheeks.
"When I left the show, Liv and I really didn't have that much time together...alone. I feel like a horrible fiancé" I said, I started to cry.
"I feel like a horrible person, Ali! WHAT I AM DOING TO HER?!" I said, while I covered my face from the weeping. Allison then wrapped her arms around my neck in comforting way,
"Derek, it's okay. Now you have all the time with Liv" she said.Everyone else heard from the living room and rushed into the kitchen.
"Derek, are you okay?" Lindsay asked,
"What's wrong?" Carlos asked.
"Dude, I've never seen you cry before" Mark said, those words hit my heart. I wiped away my tears and stood to face my friends,
"Guys, you promise you'll create the perfect wedding?" I asked."Yeah" Alison said,
"We're gonna make this perfect for you and Liv" she continued and I smiled.
"Thanks, guys" I said and we all joined in for a big hug,
"Alright who wants to watch The Unicorn Princess on Netflix?!" Hayes asked, Carlos raised his hand, but everyone else stood there.
"Hayes, as much as I would LOVE to watch that movie-" I said,
"There's someone I need to talk to" I continued and went upstairs to Liv and I's bedroom. When I walked upstairs, I wanted to make sure that I would promise to be there for Liv whenever she needs it, especially at a time like this."Knock, knock, knock" I said, while knocking. I heard Liv snicker a little, which made me smile,
"Can I come in?" I asked. I then opened the door to find Liv with her face all puffy from crying, I lied down on the bed next to her.
"You made me smile, but there is no way I can forget about what happened down there" Liv said.
"Liv, do you feel like you're being left out of my friends and I?" I asked and Liv's eyes bugged out."Derek, I absolutely feel like that" she said.
"Ever since we came to LA, I feel like you have a different life now and it doesn't involve me that much" Liv said and my heart shattered. I've never heard Liv say something more heart breaking than all the times she's been left broken hearted, I reached for Liv's tiny hand.
"Liv, you don't have to feel that way anymore" I said to her,
"You are my whole world and you always will be" I continued."Out of all of the times we hit rock bottom together, we rose above it together" I said.
"There is no one else that I want standing in front of me in a beautiful white dress saying vows on December 8th, but you" I continued.
"And I'm not with Dancing with the Stars anymore, I'm not apart of Val and his bullshit anymore, I've taken that up for as long as I can remember and now that I'm free from it at last, I just want the people who care about me in my life" I said.
"You're one of those people, Liv and I believe that we have magic together and that could never be taken away and I you are-" I said, but Liv FINALLY cut me off with a kiss on the lips."That was the greatest way I've ever been told to shut up in my life!" I said and Liv laughed. I then grabbed her hand as we headed downstairs to see everyone, I led Liv to Allison as they both stared at each other for several moments.
"Should I get rid of all the sharp objects close to us?" Carlos asked, Liv and Allison then hugged and smiled as I smiled back.
"No, Carlos" I said,
"There won't be no need for that" I continued."Well, won't I have to get rid of them if Witney finds out that I lost the keys to her car?" Carlos asked.
"YOU WHAT?!" Witney asked, Carlos looked scared for several moments until Witney was about to chase him.
"Witney, stop!" Alexa said l, Alexa then grabbed her phone and started to record,
"Proceed!" She said.
"ALEXA!!" Carlos said and Witney started to chase Carlos around my house.I couldn't help, but see that smile on Liv's face. That smile got to me every damn time, but I love it! That smile is what makes me smile everyday. That smile is what I'll see the most on December 8th.
I am terribly sorry that I didn't update for a while. This week is going to be hell because I'm leaving for Family Weekend at my sister's college on Friday and I want to get as much work done as I can. Also, I've been rewatching Bindi and Derek's contemporary dance WHICH JUST BROKE THE RECORD FOR THE MOST POPULAR VIDEO IN DWTS HISTORY👏👏👏👏👏 so I've been doing that as well. I'm really excited for famous dance night because Olivia Newton John is guest judging and I swear, if Derek says 'Olivia' or 'Liv' I will crap my pants😂😂😂. I really want their rehearsal package to have a dream sequence in it because I've been dying to know what Derek dreams about, hopefully it's me😏😏😏.
Anyway, thank you so so so so much for the support and patience on this fanfic. I'm not sure if I will post anymore this week, but if not, you know why. Thanks for reading and have a lovely day😊💗 -Liv
