Chapter 8

Derek's POV

       I felt like I was asleep for a thousand years, which would be good if I knew what happened before that. Suddenly, my eyes started to flutter open, but my vision was extremely blurry. I blinked my eyes a few times and it looked like my sister was above me.
"Derek?" She asked, I groaned
"Derek, can you hear me?" She asked again.

This time, my vision was clear and Julianne was kneeling beside me. I had a rag on my head, which was covered in my blood and I was laying down on my bed on my tour bus. But I was still extremely confused.
"What happened?" I asked
"Derek, you had an accident" Julianne said,
"I did?! I haven't had one since I was six!" I said and Julianne laughed,
"No, no" she said, she became serious again,
"No, you standing in front of a door and when it opened, it hit you right in the head" Julianne said.

Liv's POV

     Lexa and I were standing in the kitchen while Julianne and Derek were in Derek's bedroom. Lexa was lurking through their cabinets and I become annoyed.
"LEXA!" I said,
"It's one in the morning and I'm starving!" She said, I rolled my eyes. Julianne then came into the kitchen.

      "Hey, Jules. Can I have some of your Mac n Cheese?" Lexa asked,
"NO!" I said.
"Go right ahead" said Julianne, Lexa then ate all of their Mac n Cheese.
"Is Derek okay?" I asked.
"You two wanna come see him?" Julianne asked and we both nodded our heads. We then made it to Derek's bedroom as he was laying there on his bed.

Derek's POV

I noticed two girls that walked into my bedroom. They don't look too familiar to me, but they're probably my nurses that Julianne called to help me get better. One girl with the most beautiful green eyes ever and brown hair with blonde highlights sat on the bed beside me. The other girl with brown hair and brown hairs stood behind her and they both stared at me.

"Hey" she said, what was I supposed to say back?
'Hey, who are you?!' No that would be stupid.
"Hey who are you?" I said. God damnit!

Liv's POV

'Who are you?' 'WHO ARE YOU?!'. Does he not remember the moment we had together. That moment when I thought that I might have a chance of true love, that I had fun for the first time ever, that something incredible happened to me and not Maddison McClenen.
"Um, I saw you get hurt and me and my friend wanted to see if you were okay" I said.

What the hell?! I didn't see him get hurt, I ACTUALLY HURT HIM!!! Why did I say that?! Now he's never gonna know the real truth after this. This could be our last moments together.
"I'm Olivia Newell" I said and stook my hand out for Derek to shake it. Great! Now I told him to call me a name that I hate!
"But you can call me Liv" I said.

Derek's POV

Liv. That name was so beautiful for a beautiful girl. Now, what am I supposed to do?
"Derek" I said and I smiled. Liv smiled back, she had such a beautiful smile that just brightened up my mood. Suddenly, I felt extremely tired as my body was relaxed. My eyes started to close, but I wanted to look at Liv some more, finally, I gave in as I drifted off to sleep.

Liv's POV

I kept staring at Derek for a while, he looked so precious when he slept. I then heard Lexa say in a bad impression of my voice,
"Derek, don't leave me" she said and I turned and laughed.
"He's not dead" said Julianne,
"I gave him some medicine so he'll sleep through the night" she continued.
"We should probably get home" I said,
"I'll give you two a ride home" Julianne said,
"Thank you so much" I said, Julianne then started to drive the tour bus to Manhattan as I watched Derek through out the night. I was beside him the entire time and then slowly I drifted off into sleep.

Derek's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about her.

Liv's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about him.

Derek's POV

Her green eyes lite me up with her beautiful smile.

Liv's POV

The little crinkle he gets by his eyes when he laughs or smiles just steals my heart.

Derek's POV

I feel like we met some other way though, but what a kind person she was knowing that the asshole that slammed the door open did that. She rushed to my side and stayed with me.

Liv & Derek's POV

My life has forever been changed.
