Chapter 42

Derek's POV

In the afternoon, everyone was getting ready for Christmas at my house. Carlos and Witney were decorating the Christmas tree, Alexa and Mark were making paper snowflakes, Alek and Lindsay were hanging up Christmas lights, Hayes and Emma were hanging up the stockings with everyone's name on it, Bindi was making Christmas cookies, Andy was wrapping the Christmas presents and Lexa was playing Christmas music. I sat near the window, staring off into space and waiting for Liv and Allison who still have not returned. The phone rang in the kitchen and Bindi answered,
"Hello?" Bindi asked as she waited a moment.

"This is Bindi Irwin" she replied and waited a few more moments. It took Bindi a long time to respond back, or maybe someone on the other line had a lot to say. I heard a tiny gasp from Bindi,
"Thank you for calling" she responded.
"Goodbye" Bindi said and hung up the phone, Bindi then walked into the living room, where everyone was working.

Bindi's face was completely pale and she looked shook up.
"Bindi, are you okay?" Lindsay asked,
"What happened?" Hayes asked. Bindi took a deep breath,
"I just got off the phone with a paramedic" she said.
"They traced Derek's house phone number from Allison's phone" Bindi continued,
"Why would they need to trace Derek's house phone number from Allison's phone?" Andy asked.

Bindi looked like she was going to cry.
"Because there was an accident" she said, I stood up and faced Bindi,
"Allison and Liv were coming back from the mall when they found out that they were both going into labor" Bindi started.
"Oh my god" Alek said,
"But Allison made a sharp turn and...and her car crashed into a tree" Bindi continued, while crying.
"A man walking down the road found the car and called the paramedics, but when they got there-" Bindi started to cry again,
"Liv and Allison were dead!" She finished and bawled her eyes out.

            Shocking faces and sorrow swept throughout the room. Andy nearly fell to the floor in shock as the others were wiping away their tears, I stood there and I didn't know what was going on.
"Derek" Witney said, I knew what Witney meant, but I refused to believe it,
"No, she's not dead" I said. Andy then touched my shoulder,
"Derek" Andy said,
"NO! SHE'S NOT DEAD!!!" I screamed as I was crying.

            "Derek" Carlos said.
"THIS WASN'T SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN! SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE FOR ME, THIS WAS OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TOGETHER AND WE WERE GOING TO HAVE A BABY AND NOW THAT FUCKING TREE KILLS MY WIFE AND MY BEST FRIEND!!! WHY DID SHE HAVE TO DIE?!" I asked, I bawled my eyes out.
"Derek" Lindsay said,
"Derek, wake up!" Hayes said. Bindi then started to shake me,
"Derek, Derek! Derek, wake up!" She said.

           Suddenly, my vision became black as I heard Bindi saying to me,
"Derek. Derek. Derek." She said. I then heard Emma's voice,
"DEREK!!!" She screamed and that scared me,
"WHAT!" I said and everyone was staring at me. I found myself near the window as I remember looking out of it, waiting for Liv and Allison to return.
"Dude, are you okay?" Alexa asked,
"Yeah, I just had a nightmare" I said.

            "I told you not to drink so much Egg Nog!" Lexa said.
"I've been trying to wake up for five minutes" Bindi said,
"You have a phone call" she continued and handed me the phone. I freaked out, this could be the paramedic that found out that Liv and Allison were killed like in my dream. I held the phone to my ear,
"Hello?" I said and shook like hell.

             "Derek?" Liv asked, and I was relieved.
"Liv! I'm so happy to hear the sound of that beautiful voice! I love you" I said,
"I love you too" she responded.
"Are you on your way home?" I asked and it took Liv a long time to respond,
"Um, I'm at the hospital right now" she said and I was bug eyed.
"Liv" I said,
"Derek, it's time. You and others need to get the hospital right away, Twitch is already here with Allison" Liv said.

I tried to stay calm.
"Oooookaaaay" I said,
"Derek, we talked about you staying calm about going to the hospital" Liv said, sternly.
"Yes, we did" I said,
"And I am cool as a cumber" I continued.
"I'll be at the hospital soon" I finished,
"Okay, I love you" Liv said.

"I love you too" I said and hung up. I completely ignored what Liv said about 'Staying Calm' because I was not prepared for this like Liv was, Freak Out Derek was activated.
"GUYS! LIV AND ALLISON ARE HAVING THEIR BABIES AND WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!" I said and everyone was overjoyed, Carlos then woke up from his nap and removed a carton of Egg Nog from his face.
"What?" He asked,
"JUST COME WITH ME!!!" I said as I lifted Carlos over my head.

           "Wow! Derek you're so strong!" He said, while dangling over me as I busted down my door to head to my car.
"And you busted down your door!" He continued,
"Derek, you need your things!" Witney called out. I rushed back into the house to grab my suitcase and rushed back outside,
"Derek, you need Liv's things!" Emma called out. I rushed back into the house, again to grab Liv's suitcase and rushed back outside,
"Derek, you need your pants!" Lexa called out.

            I rushed back into the house again, only to realize that I was wearing pants.
"HAHAHA YOU'RE SO FUNNY!" I said, sarcastically, the others then rushed outside to the car as Bindi came out from the bathroom. I grabbed Bindi's arm as we headed out,
"LIV IS HAVING THE BABY AND WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL, OKAY?" I said and pushed Bindi out the door.
"SEE YA IN THE CAR!" I said to Bindi, Rommie then walked up to me and titled his head.

          "ROMMIE, I'M BRINGING BACK A HUMAN CHILD! STAY OFF OF THE INTERNET!" I said and closed the door as I rushed out to my car. Everyone was all over the place,
"SEAT BELTS!" I said and everyone tried to get their seat belts on.
"Derek, can you turn on the radio?" Hayes asked,
"NO!" I said.
"Wait! I can't get my seat belt on!" Lindsay said, while struggling to get her seat belt on,
"WE HAVE TO GO! BYE!" I said and drove off to the hospital to meet my future child.

BTW I changed Derek's picture because it was more updated than the other one and it's sweater weather so he's wearing flannel👏 Plus, Freak Out Derek is the greatest version of Derek there is😂😂😂
