Chapter 21

I felt amazing after Derek and I had sex and that Maddison got arrested. The word of Maddison's arrest spread like wild fire, everyone then hated Maddison and not even her family visited her in prison. I was glad and I finally slept at night without thinking what horrible things she would do to me, I also got a sexy new hair cut to change it up a little bit. missed Derek though, he had rehearsals with Julianne and we both wanted to be with each other.

I woke up Tuesday morning feel queasy like yesterday, but much much worse. I didn't go to school because I could barely move without gripping my stomach and groaning. What if Derek gave me his stomach virus? Awwww, then we would be sick together😊!

Anyway, later that day, I started craving a lot of food and ate almost everything in the fridge. I then started to feel weak, then I had to pee every five minutes, WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO ME?! I then did some research on the internet to see what this could mean and I found out. HOLY SHIT.

          Later that day, after I knew that the school day was over, I called Lexa on her phone and she picked up.
"Hey, Liv" she said,
"You missed school today, are you okay?" Lexa asked.
"Yeah" I said,
"I just felt a little under the weather" I continued.
"Hey, Lexa. Can you do me a favor?" I asked,
"Sure! What is it?" She asked.

            I didn't want to say it, but I had to.
"Can you get me a pregnancy test at CVS?" I asked, I didn't hear a response for several minutes.
"Lexa?" I asked,
"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?!" She asked.
"Can you just pick two up?" I asked,
"WHY TWO?!" Lexa asked.

         "Because if one of them is false we have another one to make sure that it's true" I said.
"OH GOD!" She said and hung up, I was thinking that this can't be happening. Derek and I have sex only one time and now I might be pregnant?! Derek and I have known each other for five days and we kiss, have sex and now I might be pregnant?!

I had to get answers. Lexa arrived a half an hour later and she must've been really mad because she didn't even let me open the door, she just used her own key.
"OLIVIA FAITH NEWELL!!!!" She screamed, I ran out of my bedroom wearing an oversized shirt and sport sports.
"I know you're scared?!" I said,
"Scared? SCARED?! I'M FUCKING TERRIFIED!!" She said.

         I took the pregnancy test from her and we went into my bathroom.
"This is impossible" Lexa said,
"I don't know how this happened, but it might be a fluke" I said.
"Yeah, but what if it's NOT, Liv?!" She said,
"You're seventeen years old! You still have to graduate high school, go to college, GET MARRIED!-" Lexa said, but she stop short. Lexa started to cry,
"I'm not loosing my best friend over a baby" she said.

I hugged Lexa and we both started to cry, I then released her.
"It's gonna be okay" I said, I sighed and then wiped away my tears.
"Okay, so how do we do this?!" Lexa asked,
"I have absolutely no idea" I said.
"Let's look on the internet" she said, we grabbed my laptop and looked up, "How to take a pregnancy test" on Google.

"Okay it says you have to take a urine test and shove the stick up your-" Lexa said, but I cut her short.
"LEXA" I said, warningly,
"You gotta do it" she said, I groaned as I took the pregnancy test and went to the bathroom.
"Have fun" she said,
"Oh, shut up" I said. I returned after that happened...and sat next to Lexa on my bed,
"Well?!" She asked.

"I have to wait five minutes" I said,
"Damn! I wished they just told you right away" she said.
"Lexa, I'm really worried" I said,
"I know, you should be!" Lexa said.
"You have school, your family, your friends-" she said, but I cut her off.
"DEREK" I said, and we both freaked out
"Oh shit, girl!" She said.

I had no idea that Derek could be the reason why I could be pregnant.
"You don't think that Derek got me pregnant, right?!" I asked,
"Liv, you've been saving your virginity for the right guy for five years and now you give it up for Derek and you could be pregnant!" She said. Lexa had a point,
"But I don't want him to think that it's his fault" I said. Lexa touched my shoulder,
"Liv, don't put all this pressure on him. He goes through enough already" Lexa said.

          "And plus, he has a career. Don't make him give that all up for something that he's not ready for yet" she continued and I smiled.
"You're right, Lexa" I said,
"I'm glad I called you over here" I continued.
"I'm not, you made me pause American Idol for this!" She said,
"But it was worth it" Lexa continued. We both hugged and heard a beeping coming from the bathroom.

"What's that?!" She asked.
"Well, it's not my bitch alarm" I said, we then both realized what it was. Lexa and I ran to the bathroom to see the pregnancy test going off on the bathroom sink. Lexa picked it up and she saw that I was shaking like hell.

"You check it" I said, Lexa looked down to see the results and I was a nervous wreck. This could determine my future for the rest of my life, at seventeen, my future could begin so soon. I started to think what Derek would do if I told him, would he leave me? I started to shake as Lexa kept starring at the pregnancy test,
"Well?" I asked, Lexa looked up
"WE'RE HAVING A BABY!" She sang.
