Naga Sonadow

Part 3

Slithering down a worn, dirt path, Shadow made his way through the dense jungle, searching for the beast whom Sonic was running from. Easily picking up the scent of the intruder, Shadow growled ferociously knowing instantly who the being was.

"How dare you enter my territory again!"

Shadow hissed as he began clawing a tree to sharpen his claws as well indicate this was HIS land, and that anyone who dare to come near here will be severally punished if not killed. However, for this intruder, killing him would be nest to impossible, and punishment would be of no help. The naga he hunts is almost just as high a stature as he, for the creature is no alpha, but yet the beta of a different lands. If Shadow were to attack the beta, the alpha of the intruders lands would surely attack his tribe. Nagas live alone, yes, yet they still have large patches of land where groups of them team together when ever a threat strays too close.
Shadow heard a loud hissing sound from behind, he kept calm, instantly knowing it didn't come as a threat to him.

"What is it, Amy?"

"He's back."

"Yes, I'm aware, are the others looking for him?"

"All but the elders and the children."

"Good, it seems he chased his prey onto our lands."

"You're protecting it, aren't you?"

"Perhaps."

"Oh please, there is no perhaps, you protect every mobbian that strays out here!"

"There's no need for us to become savages, Amy, we have enough wild game here for us not to have to devour innocent creatures such as them."

Amy growled irritated with the large alpha whom glared at her to put her in her place, almost instantly she silenced herself with a sigh.

"Was it injured?"

"A sprained ankle."

"Does it need attention?"

"I don't believe so, it only needed a wrap and I took care of that."

The pink and red naga scoffed earning another glare from the black one.

"What's so funny?!"

"Oh nothing, just the fact that you think you can bandage an injury is all!"

Amy smirked at him, knowing she was getting under his scales, she continued to snicker at him until he had had enough, growling at her to quiet.

"Relax Shadow, it was just a joke, a true fact, but also a joke, you may be alpha but that doesn't mean you need to lock out a sociable world."

"I'm not, I just don't enjoy that same pathetic shit as you do. Besides, I did a decent job this time."

"I'll be the judge of that"

Amy smirked and slithered back down the path towards Shadow's home.
