Naga Sonadow

Part 13

  Sonic wandered out of Shadow's home, falling onto the cool tall grass wrapping him like a blanket as an intoxicating aroma invaded his nose, the scent of freshly cooked bread filled the air and pulled the little speedster deeper into the forest until he came to a decently sized shack, it's windows open and two pies sat in each one and outside in a small patch of flowers sat a young little bunny girl with the tail of a naga, her cream colored scales and fur looked so soft in the fading light, and a little chao with a red bow tie fluttered around her head.

"Um, h-hello."

The bunny girl's ears perked at the sound of Sonic's voice and she turned around to face him; she smiled an slithered over to him coming no higher than his chest, the chao quickly followed her resting on top of her head.

"Hello, are you the new mobbian that Mr. Shadow is protecting from Scourge?"

"Wait, who's Scourge?"

"The mean man who chased you here."

"The green one?"

"That's him, he always chases your kind into our tribe, mama says Mr. Mephilis should have him lock an chained."

"Lock and chained? You mean like jail or something?"

"Kinda, anyway, I'm Cream and this is Cheese.

"Chao! Chao!

Sonic chuckled an smiled, gently taking the young child's hand, giving it a kind shake.

"I'm Sonic, it's a pleasure to meet you Cream."

Cream giggled an grabbed onto Sonic's hand tugging him in the direction of the front door to the shack.

"Come on! It's dinner time and I want Momma to meet you!"

Sonic got a little nervous as the young naga dragged him inside; inside there was a large counter an oven and glass containers full of fresh bread and many other kinds of baked goods; Cream lead Sonic behind the counter an down a hole that opened up into a small room with coats hung up on the wall with a single door, she coaxed him to come through the door where they were greeted by another naga that looked a lot like Cream but older with pink lipstick and purple eye shadow.

"H-Hello."

Sonic smiled nervously as the large naga smiled at him.

"Evening, you must be Sonic."

"S-Seems my names g-gotten out there h-hasn't it?"

"Amy Rose doesn't exactly know how to keep her lips tight."

"S-Social b-butterfly?"

"Quite, and you have no reason to be nervous, dear, I won't harm you"

Sonic relaxed a little but as the evening went on he had forgotten that he was with nagas, they acted so much like mobbians he had a hard time believing that the weren't; Cream giggled and played around him until she passed out on a chair before, later, being moved to her bed by her mother.

"Sonic I believe I'm left to ask a large favor of you."

"Of course anything, Mrs. Vanilla, what do you need help with?"

"It's about Shadow."
