Chapter 4

3 months pregnant
Lexie POV
Today im 3 months pregnant and we're going in to do the gender ultrasound. Mark wants to know the gender, and I don't. We decided we would if it were twins or anything. That would be funny, twins or triplets the first time being pregnant.
Two hours later..
Marks POV
Lex and I just learned that we were having twins. Its two boys. I really didn't know how I felt about it. But I did know that I was happy and exited for our future.

6 months pregnant...
Today lexie and I went baby shopping. We got carseats and cribs and everything we and the babies would need. As we were talking on the way home Lexie decided that I could donate for Arizona and Callie if they still wanted to. She also decided that we need names for our children.
"I like Mark JR and Zach" I said with excitement.
Lexie shook her head "McKade and Max, would be nice names" she said.
"We can decide when they're born" I decided not wanting an argument to come out of this.
Lexie nodded "Okay.. So should they share a room or have their own rooms?"
I replied with my thought "They should share a room. That would make everything more convenient."
"What color's then?" Lexie asked yet another question.
"I think we should do grey. Also, if we need we can add other colors to the rooms." I responded "I was going to say grey or blue, so that works out. I love you Mark."
I smiled "I love you too Lex."

The Twins Due Date
"Push Lex! Push!" The first baby comes out and I stare in awe. It was our child the nurse took him to get cleaned And checked out. Lexie was screaming loudly at the nurse. "WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME MARK THIS WAS ALL A HUGE MISTAKE!" As she was screaming she started to push, our second son arrived. As the nurse him she gave our other son to me, I walked over to Lexie and handed him to her. I spoke to Lexie quietly "What do you think the name should be for him?" Lexie responded staring at him "Marcus" she whispered. Only loud enough for our son to hear. "What did you say?" I asked again walking closer. "Marcus Derek Sloan. Mark for short." She said happiness in her voice. As we were admiring our first son the nurse came over and brought our unnamed son over and handed him too me. "Lex?" I asked her waiting to hear what she was going too say. "McKade David Sloan. I can't believe we have kids Mark." She said. "I know I can't either" I replied kissing her on her forehead.

Lexie POV
While we were enjoying the new company of our kids, Meredith and Derek walked in. My face lights up seeing my sister
"How are you doing" She asks me.
I think for a second "Tired, in pain, but overall? Im happy and exited."
I look over at Mark sitting in the chair talking to Derek while showing him Marcus and he smiled back at me.
"So what are their names?" Derek asks.
"Marcus is with Mark and McKade is over there." Mark tells them while Derek goes to pick up McKade.
I smile "Mark I was wrong, this wasn't a mistake. I was just in so much pain." I told him.
"Lexie I know, I know." He says walking over to me handing Marcus to Meredith.
3 Days Later...
We arived at our apartment around 3:00 PM with the twins. Little did we know, Meredith, Derek, April, Jackson, Bailey, Amelia, and Owen we're there to greet us, also Meredith and Derek took time to finish the kids rooms.
"Thank you so much Mer, I love you" I told her after I saw what she did.
"Not a problem!" She replies.
An Hour later
As we were putting the twins to sleep I decided to call Meredith because Mark had to work the next day! because he scheduled this surgery around a year ago. I was going to ask if Meredith would stay the night. But little did I know Meredith took the next week off for me.
2 hours later
When she arrived, I was shocked to see both of her kids with her. When all the kids fell asleep, Mer and I googled houses for sale.
The next morning
Last night was a disaster. Both Mer and I were up all night, Later that day Mark and I were having a conversation about moving. "We need to upgrade to a house Mark. "I said while handing him Marcus. "This apartment is way to small for all four of us." Mark smiled "I have a suprise for you and the boys" he chimed in-
30 minutes later I was in the car blindfolded with Mark and the kids. When we got to our location, I saw Meredith and Derek's house. "Why are we here?" I asked Mark worried, "Did something happen?"

"Nothing is wrong." Mark replied, "Do you see that house over there?"
"Yeah..." I said suspiciously. "Welcome to our new house!"  Mark said, stunned I replied "Mark thank you so much for the new house, but what about the boys rooms?" I asked him concerned. "Last night I took everything from there rooms and arranged it just like it was, with the help from Meredith and Derek everything went smoothly." Mark answered. When I walked in I was stunned the whole house was furnished and move in ready. When we walked in I set McKade's carseat down on the floor and took him out. "Lets see what you dad built us!" I said exited to look around. As we were walking throught the house I was amazed. "What do you think baby?" Mark asked as he snuck behind me.

"I LOVE it!" I said. As I was walking to McKade's room I noticed something, Everything was done perfectly. As I set McKade down I quiety walked out of the room down to the kitchen. As I was walking downstairs I heard Mark having a coversation with Derek. "Hi Derek" I said "Hey Lexie, how do you like the new house?" Derek asked. "Its amazing, Thanks for the space." Derek replied "No problem then whenever you need Mer or I just come over. Also Meredith is making dinner tonight and I was told to invite you." He sat there waiting. "Great. We'll be there around 8." I said. "Sounds great!" Derek replied while hugging me and walking out the door. "Alright Mark give me the baby he has to nap. "But babe we're bonding." Mark whined. "Fine, then you put him down I'll make us some real food." I told him. "Ok babe." He relied happy he got his way. Mark stated as he was walking up the stairs to Marcus's room. Finally some piece and quiet I thought to myself, but not for long.
